You Never Know

8.Work

                                      I got back to my work after giving him a small smile. After half an hour or so, Neha came to me and invited me to join her for lunch to which I agreed and headed towards the canteen. While we were heading there, I narrated all the things which happened from yesterday evening till today morning. 

" You know what Vihaan said was right," she said.

" You should give him a chance !" she added. As she said this Vihaan also joined us for lunch.

" What are you talking about? " He asked playfully and grabbed a seat. 

"NO, I just told her about the morning thing," I said. 

" Ohhh," He said. 

" So what have you decided ?" He asked 

" Well, I have decided to follow your advice !" I said and he smiled. 

" But now what? Neha asked.

" Well, I guess we should wait and see," Vihaan said and ordered the food. 

                                  After finishing my lunch I got up from my seat and said " OKay so you both continue I will leave as my work is pending".

" Yeah sure," Neha said 

" But Ananya don't come to me if you have any doubts because I am very busy," Vihaan said and smirked.

" NO sir, I will not, " I said and blushed. 

" OH MY GOD! She is blushing " Neha exclaimed and Vihaan laughed. With that, I went towards my desk and resumed my work. After a few hours, I finished my work and I headed towards his cabin and knocked. 

                                         After hearing a low " Come in " I went inside. As I entered inside, I saw him resting back on his chair with his eyes closed. 

" SIR ?" I asked in a low voice. 

"Yes! How are you? " He asked with his eyes still closed. 

"Sir, I have completed the work " I stated ignoring his question and he opened his eyes. 

" This is not the answer to my question " He replied and I looked at my feet as if a movie was going on there. 

" I am fine," I said in a low tone. 

"Hmmm! Okay so let's wrap it up for today as it already late and I am dropping you today " he said in a stern tone. 

" But sir- " he cut me off and said " No arguments". I muttered a small okay and left his cabin. I packed all my stuff and headed towards the parking lot. 

                                I sat in his car and he started driving. I sat with my eyes closed as he was driving the car. 

" Are you okay ?" He asked after a while and I smiled. 

" Yes, I am fine just a slight headache. I badly need a chai ( tea ) " I said and he chuckled. 

" hmmm so let's have tea, " He asked more like stated.  

I wanted to say no but I remembered the chat with Vihaan. 

" Okay," I muttered. 

This is going to be interesting.

   " So where you would like to have tea ?" He asked while concentrating on the road.

" Um Sir actually can we have chai from a Tapri ?" I asked back hesitantly.
