14. Taking Care

The second I saw him inching forward, all my giggling died down. As he was coming closer, I had an idea of what is going to take place.

You know there are times When you are not allowed to have certain foods because they might make you ill but still whenever such items come in front of you. All these things go out of the window and you just start having that snack.

The same thing was happening to me. I closed my eyes and all the thoughts left my mind when he started inching closer. I held onto his t-shirt tightly whereas his hands found their way to my waist.

I could feel my heart hammering against my chest as I felt his breath fanning my lips. I gripped his t-shirt more tightly as a doubt came to my mind. I wanted to stop all this but now there was no turning back and as I thought he would claim my lips, he turned my face to the other side and pecked my cheeks making me flush and then he whispered, " I am having viral and there is still time for it".

As he whispered, my cheeks turned red and I hid my face in his chest making him laugh. I could feel his chest vibrating as he laughed making me hit his chest in shyness. A few minutes later, I lifted my face to see a beautiful smile on his face making me blush all the more than before.

" Did you got your answer because I got mine " He teased and I just lowered my eyes as now I couldn't look into his eyes anymore.

" Look at me," He said in a deep voice making me look at him.

" You know you look more pretty when you blush," He said and I just shyly smiled at him.

" Now stop blushing otherwise Don't blame me if you got viral too, "He said and winked at me making my cheeks redder if possible.

" Umm .. sleep now! You need rest " I said still blushing because of him.

"No, You will leave then " He whined like a kid which made me smile and before I could stop myself I kissed his forehead and whispered, " I won't".

I started caressing his hair and within a few minutes, he slipped into deep slumber making me wonder how destiny brought us here. As he slept, I started thinking about the events which had happened today. My lips were automatically pulled up in a smile thinking how he cared about me and did not kiss me even though he wanted to. After today's incident, I knew one thing,

That nothing is going to be the same!!!!!!!

I sat there in my thoughts, stroking his hair and looking at him. I came out of my thoughts when my phone rang. It displayed Vihaan's name so I quickly cut the call so that he doesn't wake up and freed my hand from his grip and when to the hall to call Vihaan back.

" Where the hell are you? " Vihaan shouted as soon as I called him back.

" Ugh.. Woh I am at his place " I said hesitantly.

" WHAT?? " Vihaan shouted loudly.

" Actually after the meeting, he was not well. So that's why I came with him " I said in a low tone.

" Oh! So how is he? " He asked now in a calmer tone.

" He is sleeping and I have given him the medicines " I explained.

" Oh! So what are you doing there? " He asked.

" Woh ..Actually, I didn't want to leave " I said in a low tone.

" Oh! So I see there is some progress " Vihaan chuckled and said.

" VIHAAN " I whined while he continued chuckling.
