5.Stubborn

Today, I woke up early 1 hr early than I usually wake up. All due to the excitement that was bottled up in me from yesterday evening.

I finished my morning chores, had breakfast and stepped outside the building.

30 minutes had already passed since I stepped out from my house and I had not got a single auto to go to the office. Having no other option I had to book an Uber cab which took another 10 mins. The whole context of telling you all this is I AM VERY LATE, VERY VERY LATE.

By the time I reached office I was late by 1 hr. So directly instead of wasting any time, I ran to Agasthya's cabin. As I reached his cabin, I knocked and heard his strong "come in ".His voice told me that he was angry. Actually, scratch that he was very very angry.

" I am really sorry that I was late " I said in a very guilty voice as I entered in his cabin.

" Just shut up !! Don't you think you should inform me? Yesterday I made it very clear that you will be reporting to me! Didn't you find it necessary to tell me that you are going to be late " he said in a very cold voice which gave me shivers, Shivers of FEAR?

"I am sorry " I murmured looking straight in his eyes.

" go to Vihaan, he will tell you everything. Now get out !" he said in a loud voice. I just walked out of his cabin and went to the cabin beside it (Vihaan 's cabin ).

" where were you ? He was really angry " Vihaan asked in a concerned voice as soon as I entered his room .

" arre it was auto strike and I didnt know , After 30 mins of waiting I got a cab " I replied

" but you should have told me na ? So that I could inform him ! He was waiting for you Ananya , but as you came late he thought that you have taken him for granted ." he said in a soothing voice to make me feel better .

" I get it Vihaan but he is just not ready to listen and I will not run behind him to explain myself . Its all because of this stupid crush agr yeh nahi hota toh I would have not been insulted like that that too without hearing my part . I will just assist him for few days and then I will change my department " I replied to him in a defeated tone .

" Hmmm okay " he said and explained me my duties . He also told that from today onwards I will be sitting on this floor right infront of HIS cabin .

Great!! Please note the sarcasm.

After showing me my desk , he gave me the reports of particular company and told me to copy them in the system .

" So many reports ?? " I asked him seeing the files of the report .

" Yes !! Agasthya told me to give this to you and also you have to complete this by the end of the day " he replied in a sorry tone .

" No problem, I will do it . " I said in a confident tone and went towards my desk . As soon as I sat on my chair , my eyes met his . He was looking at me with a raging expression and I just looked at him with a disappointed look . After few seconds , I broke the eye lock and started to work on the files which were given by him .

I was busy typing the files when someone tapped on my shoulder . I turned around and saw she was Neha . She asked me to join her for tea and I refused . At that point of time , I realised that I was so busy working that I had skipped my lunch break . So I decided to have a twix that is always in my bag (ICE) .

After having the chocolate , I got back on my work as still few reports were pending .

After sometime
