" Where were you ?" my mom asked, as soon as I entered my home.

Dead Meat!!

" Actually mom, I didn't realize how the time passed. That's why " I said and she smiled.

" Oh, It's okay! I understand, Next time inform me " Mom said and caressed my hair. She asked me to freshen up till the time she sets the dining table.

I freshened up and sat at the dining table. Moments later, my parents and brother also sat. We started having our dinner while discussing some general things. I was thinking about him though I was physically present with my family. I was thinking, about how we just did ordinary things still our day turned out to be extraordinary without any effort.

After having my dinner, I wished my parents " Good night " and went inside my room. I laid on my bed and was trying to sleep when my phone buzzed. There was a message from an unknown number.

Did you had dinner?

Seeing the message a small smile graced my face and I replied immediately.

Yes, I had! what about you?

Ps - How did you get my number?

I got the reply within a few seconds as if he was waiting for me.

And the answer to your second question would be, I always had your number.

Then why you didn't message me before?

How about I tell you that tomorrow?

Because I don't want you to sleep late as you have to come office early.

Seeing his reply, I went to sleep with a smile on my face after saving his number.

Next day

I woke up with my alarm beeping like a fire siren. Usually, every morning I crave for extra few minutes of sleep but today I didn't have the urge to sleep back for some minutes because my reality was finally better than my dreams. It was as if I was just waiting for my alarm to ring so that I could get ready and go to the office.

I quickly finish my morning chores and wear a light pink kurta with white leggings. I wear matching earrings with them and go to the dining table to have my breakfast.
