I'll Be There (Peter Parker x Reader) {COMPLETE}

Chapter 5

*3rd person P.O.V.*

You started waking up slowly because of  the bright light in the room. Before you opened your eyes you moved around the mattress, but it felt different, and you noticed that you had a blanket over you.

You opened your eyes, still being a little sleepy, you looked down to see that you were still wearing your black skinny jeans and grey crop top. You looked up, to find yourself somewhere completely different than last night. That woke you up completely and you started freaking out. You tried to move your arms and your legs to stand up, but when you looked down, you saw that you were tied down on a hospital bed. You looked around the room with fearful eyes while breathing heavily, your chest moving up and down. "Where am I" you asked yourself.

You were in a white bright room, which seemed like a hospital room, the only difference was that there was a dark glass in front of you and you couldn't see through it. You felt like there was someone watching you behind the glass, and that gave you goosebumps since it reminded you of your time in Hydra cells. You kept trying to break free from the belts tied around your wrists and your ankles. It was weird, it was just robe, you should be able to break them without a problem, but then you looked to your right and saw a slim tube injected into your arm. You followed the tube upwards with your eyes to see that it was connected to a machine, you also saw some kind of liquid going through the tube and into your veins. You pulled your head backwards defeated, the liquid was probably some kind of chemical making you physically weaker.

"Where the hell am I?!" You yelled, without getting a response. "Mia? Please, I need help!" You kept moving frantically. "Let me out! Let me out!" you kept screaming. You also tried to use your magic to break free. You looked at your hands, seeing how there was a tiny bit of magic around them, but it quickly faded away. "What the hell is in that tube?" you asked yourself. Suddenly, the door opened, revealing Tony Stark, and a few doctors behind him. You looked at him with full of hatred, realizing now what was going on. You concluded that they had found you somehow and brought you here in your sleep.

"That's not really gonna work" Tony said, pointing at your hands, which still had some weak magic flowing through them.

"Where am I?" you asked, ignoring his statement without even facing him.

"You are at the Avengers Tower, but that's not important right now. I want to have a conversation with you." He said as he sat down on a chair next to your bed.

"Well, I don't" you scoffed.

"Look, the longer you take to cooperate with us, the longer it will take for you to go home." he said.

Home... That was something you didn't have, you never did. You started wondering where Mia was. Was she hurt? Did they take her too? But how did they find us?

"Where's Mia?" you asked. After a few seconds of silence, the door opened again, and this time it was Mia at the door. "Mia? Please help me!" you begged, as you looked at her sad eyes. Then you looked at Tony and back at Mia, realising something. "Wait... Did you bring me here?!" you yelled as hot tears started streaming from your eyes and down you cheeks. She didn't answer, instead she just looked down to the floor. "Answer me!" this time your yelling was full of rage and your eyes started to become purple. Tony noticed that and he stood up, being aware and slowly walked to an emergency button on the wall.

"Yes, I did." Mia said with guilt in her voice and without facing you, holding back her tears. In that moment you felt mixed emotions, rage, sadness, confusion, but mostly, betrayal. Mia was the only person you held close to your heart, and that only person had just betrayed you. You were alone again.

"Why?..." your voice cracked.

"I'm sorry." Mia said, still looking downwards. All the feelings you were having were enough for you to be stronger than the chemical in the tube and you snapped all the ropes holding you as you jumped out of the hospital bed. You got rid of the tube injected in your arm, you grabbed Tony's arm pushing him aside, making him hit his head against the wall. You did the same to the doctors and you saw how a group of guards were coming your way. You easily avoided their gunshots and you knocked them down more than one at a time. You looked at Mia, and she looked at you horrified. Your eyes had turned purple and strong magic was flowing around your hands.

Mia took a few steps backwards, but she tripped and fell. You started walking towards her, but a horrible and loud high-pitched sound suddenly filled the whole building. You looked back to see Tony, he had pushed some kind of emergency button. You knew it wouldn't be long until the room would be filling up with Avengers and other security guards, but you weren't worried about that, you knew you could take them all easily, so you kept walking towards Mia, ignoring the alarm...
