I'll Be There (Peter Parker x Reader) {COMPLETE}

Chapter 18

*3rd Person P.O.V.*

After talking to Wanda for a long time you were pretty tired and it was also kind of late, so you decided to go to sleep.
You were sleeping peacefully when you heard a loud noise coming from the hallway and it sounded like something crashing. Your heart jumped out a little bit in fear from the sudden wake. You sit up on your bed alarmed in the darkness and waiting for more noises before going to see what it was. After you don't hear anything else for a couple of minutes you decide to forget about it and you open your phone to look at the time. 1:05am. Great. Your throat was feeling a little sore, so you decide to go to the kitchen quickly and drink water. You put your hair up in a messy bun and walk out of your bedroom. Your senses were on alert just in case you heard another sound, but the second you step outside your room you grow extremely confused after you feel something wet under your feet.

"What the hell?" you mumble to yourself as you rub your eyes to adjust your vision. You look down the hallway and since there are some low lights on, you are able to see that it's full of water. You were considering opening one of doors from the Avengers's bedrooms next to yours randomly to ask for help, but you decide to keep it to yourself and still go to the kitchen to get your water. You end up having to walk on your tip toes to avoid getting your feet more wet than they already are.
You finally get to the kitchen and it was really hard getting there because it was so dark, and all the lights in the kitchen are off. You walk next to the wall with your hand as a guide to find the light switch. After you find it, you turn on the lights and drink a full glass of cold water. You head back to your bedroom, but you start hearing crashing noises again. Without thinking twice, you start walking towards the noise not really knowing were you were going, you just follow it. As you get closer, you realize it's coming from the large training hall, and the noises become giggles, whispers, and things crashing. Cautiously, you walk inside the hall where all the lights are switched off too, before you can even begin to look for the switch, a wet blow hits your face, leaving your whole face and hair wet. You gasp in frustration as you try to wipe the water off your face, and the giggles increase. You angrily walk towards the light switch and turn on the lights, and your jaw drops at what you see. What's in front of you would be pretty amusing except for the fact that you're covered in water and that it's 1am. Scott, the guardians, Thor, Natasha, Clint, Sam, and Bucky are having a water balloon fight. They look at you in shock for the fact that they just got caught, and a water balloon falls out of Clint's hand and exploding at the impact against the floor.

"Who the hell threw that at me?!" you yell, breaking the silence, but you can see that none of them really know who it was since it was all darkness before and they couldn't see anything. "And why are you having a water balloon fight at 1am?!" you ask again.

"Well, it started being just me, Mantis, Drax, Groot, Rocket, Thor, and Loki, but Loki left and the rest saw how much fun we were having so they wanted to join too." Scott says. You take a closer look at all of them, and see that they are all wearing pijamas but they are now soaking wet. You look around the hall and see huge buckets all full of water balloons and the floor full of water. You facepalm yourself at their childishness, before looking back at them.

"But it's 1am and you woke me up!" you yell, but then you see a head pop up behind one of the buckets. Peter.

"Please don't tell Steve or Mr. Stark." he pleads.

"Seriously Peter? You too?" you ask, unimpressed. "I'm going back to sleep, but I swear that if someone wakes me up again, I'll make you suffer." you say warningly pointing at each of them. "Oh, and make sure this is all cleaned up before they wake up, including the hallway." you give them a fake smile before turning around when an idea comes to your head. You smirk, and turn around. With your mind control you make all the water balloons float around the room on top of everone's heads, and then you pop them, making the water fall on everyone.
