You try getting out of the crowd as quickly as possible, as you drag Peter with you. Once you finally make your way to the terrace where there aren't much people, you lean on the balcony railing and stare at the beautiful night time skyline of New York. It's a beautiful sight, and you know you'll never get tired of seeing all the bright lights from the city at night. You see Peter lean on the railing as well next to you, and you can see him looking at you from the back of your eye.

"Thank you." you say, still looking at the view.

"For what?" he asks.

"For defending me back there." you say, this time turning to him, and looking at his beautiful chocolate eyes.

"Well, it looked like you needed help, and when he started touching you... something came over me, and I lost it." he says, letting out a small chuckle, making you chuckle softly as well. You stay silent for a few moments, until Peter breaks it. "So, did you work things out with Wanda?"

"Yeah, she talked to Tony, and he told her everything about how I ended up in HYDRA, and then Wanda told me." you say.

"What? So, do you want to tell me about it?" he asks, and you nod.

"Apparently my parents, who are also Wanda's, couldn't afford to take care of any more children when they had me, which was two years after Wanda and Pietro, her twin, were born. Have they told you about him?" you ask, and Peter nods sadly. "So, they gave me away to an adoptive family. Six years later, HYDRA killed the whole town we were living in, including my parents, and they took me with them. I have no idea why they would take me and kill almost everyone else, though. Then, when I was old enough for them to experiment on me, they brainwashed me and turned me into a new younger version of the Winter Soldier, but with telekinetic powers like Wanda's, which were given to me by Loki's scepter. I don't remember anything before HYDRA, but I do remember the suffering, the torture, all the missions they forced me into, all the people I killed... The monster they turned me into, that's what I am." you struggle to say your last sentence, as tears start building up in your eyes. You can see the hurt in Peter's eyes after you say that.

"No, y/n. Don't ever say that. You're probably one of the most amazing people I've ever met, and whatever HYDRA forced you to do, it wasn't you." he says, making a tear fall down you cheek. You quickly wipe it off and smile at Peter.

"Thank you, I really needed to hear that." you say. "But the other day I was thinking, I don't actually know that much about you! So... go ahead." you say, trying to lift up the mood. It takes Peter a few seconds to realize what your asking.

"Oh! Uh, well... I go to a high school in Queens, called Midtown High School. In fact, I'm starting my last year there in two days." he says. "What else... Umm, I live with my aunt May, since my parents and my uncle died" your expression turns sad after he says that, knowing how he feels and thinking how he doesn't deserve the pain that comes with that.

"I'm sorry..." you say, looking down.

"It's okay. I'm happy. I have really good friends, Ned, MJ, and Liz, and I hope one day you can meet them." he says excitedly.

"I'd love to."

After talking for a long time, you both turn to the night view, and stay silent for a couple of seconds.

"You know, the first time I ever saw New York from this point of view was when I came here. I've never had the chance to see it from a higher point of view, but now that I can... I'll never get tired of it." you say, looking at the skyline with dreamy eyes, while Peter looks at you, and an idea pops up in his head.
