Chapter 5

Sadhbh's p.o.v

(Two weeks later)

"So has he called or texted heck even a letter through the door"

"Nope and he's not going to either you should have seen the look in his eyes he looked hurt then mad and that's when he left and I haven't heard from him since"

"I feel bad leaving you here so we can go on our dates with the boys"

"Jay Riley shut up and go on those dates I'll be fine I've plenty to keep me occupied"

"Okay but if you need us you call deal"

"Deal, now finish getting ready they will be here soon"

Just as Sadhbh says that the door bell rings so she goes and answers it when she opens the door she was half hoping Mike would be there and when he wasn't her smile faded but she quickly smiled and let Calum and Luke into the house

"Sadhbh we are sorry about Michael we don't know what's gotten into him he's not doing anything he's just staring into space while doing his everyday things"

"Don't worry Cal it's not your fault it's mine I shouldn't have told him about the leukemia"

"You have leukemia oh god no wonder he's like that"

"Calm down I HAD leukemia"

"Ohhh okay well now I'm back to being stuck with explaining Michael again"

"Hey don't worry about it it's just going to go back to the way it was before the concert and we'll um that's ok"

The girls walk into the sitting room and immediately catch the guys attention before anything can be said Sadhbh quickly jumps in

"All right love birds off and enjoy your dates"

With that they all head knowing better than to protest as soon as they are out of sight Sadhbh goes out the back to catch some fresh air and ends up bursting into tears she looks up at the night sky and cries

"Where did I go wrong gramps I should never have gone to that concert then I never would have been in this mess why did he have to take off like that when I told him why I pushed everyone away it looked like someone had stabbed in the heart and was dying why when I was diagnosed with leukemia did you have to die I mess everything up without you there to help me sure just look at Mike he hasn't talked to me since I told him why I pushed everyone away and that was two weeks ago"

Sadhbh lies down on the grass and looks at the star's and starts to sing

"...I'm only human and I bleed when I fall down..."

When she finishes singing she closes her eyes and sighs and in no time she falls asleep.

When the girls get home they head straight to bed when they wake up in the morning they go to wake Sadhbh up but she's not in her room so they grab her phone and call Michael

"Michael please to god say you or the lads have seen Sadhbh"

"Why"

"Well her bed wasn't slept in and the house is dead quiet"

"I'll get the boys and we will help to find her"

In no time the lads are over at the girl's house and everyone is looking for Sadhbh after two hours Sadhbh walks into the house

"What are you all doing here"

They all turn around and look at her in disbelief

"Where were you"

"Well I um accidently fell asleep outside last night"

"Why didn't we check your spot outside"

"Now why are you four here"

"We couldn't find you but seen your phone so we called Michael to see if you were with him then he gathered up the lads and they came over to help find you"

Sadhbh looks over at Michael then looks down at the floor

"I'm um going to get dressed"

Sadhbh keeps her eyes on the floor and rushes to her room she gets dressed then flops onto her bed. After half an hour there is a knock on the door

"Yeah"

"Hey um Sadhbh can we talk"

"Sadhbh gets up and goes to the door but before she opens it she backs away from the door and turns so her back is facing it.

"I'm busy Michael I have to get work done"

"Sadhbh please I need to talk to you I was an ass with the way I reacted"

She slips on her heals and grabs her work stuff and heads out past Michael

"Sadhbh please"

"Michael I've work to do that I have to have in to my boss in an hour so I really can't talk now"

"Okay well I'll let you be"

"I'm sorry Michael"

Sadhbh goes out to her car and heads to work to hand in her stuff. When she gets there she heads to her bosses office and knocks on the door

"Come in"

"Here is all the work you needed done"

"Thanks for having it in early oh and enjoy your holiday"

"I will thanks boss see you when I get back"

"No working on your holiday"

"Righto boss"

With that, she leaves and heads home to pack her bags for her holiday

"Hey Sadhbh"

"Oh um hey Luke"

"If you're looking for Jay she's in the kitchen"

She heads to the kitchen and sees Jay

"Hey Sadhbh I've got some bad news remember the trip you and I were supposed to go on yeah I can't go any more work needs me for the week but I asked Michael if he would go in my place"

"Jayden why did you ask him out of everyone"

"Cause you two need to sort shit out so you're going on the holiday with him"

"You are unbelievable"

Sadhbh storms out of the kitchen and heads to her room to pack

"I'm guessing that she didn't take the news well"

"Nope but could you blame her he ghosted her for two weeks when she told him why she isolated herself which is exactly why, Michael is going with her"
