"You know this is dangerous, right?" I said to Lauren.

Not to mention stupid.

"Yes but I have to."

"No you don't!" I muttered.

But I swear if we don't get there soon, I'm stealing her backpack and running back to my place to leave her stranded in the woods.

Harsh, I know. I've done worse things.

"Just so you know, we're going to the backyard so no one will catch us going through the front if anyone's nearby."

"Wasn't planning on going through the front." I stated plainly.

"So are we almost there?" I said starting to get annoyed of how long this was taking.

"Yeah, it's straight ahead." She sighed.

I looked down at her from the corner of my eyes and sighed.

She looks pretty tired.

"Want me to take the bag for a bit?"

She nodded her head in response.

I then grabbed the straps as she slid out of it then I slung it on my shoulder.

"Thanks." She gave a breath of relief.

I smiled at her reaction and kept looking ahead.

I was finally able to see her house up ahead past a little hill.

"See, told you we were close." Lauren smiled as her pace fastened.

I quickly trailed behind until I heard something from the barn and it wasn't the horse.

"Lauren, wait!" I whisper shouted as I grabbed her wrist to prevent her from going any further.

"What?" She groaned as she snapped her head back.

I stopped her just in time right before the door to the barn swung open revealing a couple of Nikoli's men.

"Hey boss, look what we found!" One of the guys yelled as the other struggled to drag Felip out of the barn.

There's the horse. He seems pretty freaked out since he's jumping around trying to get away from the two guys.

Lauren then took a step forward before I grabbed her wrist. She turned around with pleading eyes but I shook my head.

"What is it?" I heard Nikoli.

He then walked out of the back door and up to the guys.

"Oh shit!" He laughed. "That's one crazy ass horse." He said as he saw it freaking out.

He went closer so he can try to pet him but instead Felip freaked out even more and almost knocked down Nikoli.

The guy trying to keep hold of the leash couldn't hold on any longer and it slipped out his hands so Felip started jumping around freaking out.

He knocked over both of the guys and stepped on one of them.

Felip then kicked down Nikoli with his back legs and sent him flying to the ground.

I then realized that Lauren's hands were trembling and she was freaking out just as much as Felip.

"One of you stop this horse now!" Nikoli said trying to crawl away so he wouldn't get trampled on.

After that, it's as if everything was going in slow motion.

We saw one of the guys pull out a gun and Lauren snapped.
