(Name) POV

Well, that all didn't go as I planned in my head...

Currently, I'm standing alongside Connor. Both of us are standing there, trying to talk to Hank but he didnt seem too pleased to be working with Connor... Or me... Or maybe just the both of us.

"Hank, I understand you may not want to work with a detective who is not as skilled as you may want me to be but... Please work with me on this. We are a team and-" "I don't give a rat's ass about your team! I don't want to be working alongside one of those plastic pricks! I want absolutely nothing to do with it" Hank says angrily, crossing his arms and turning away like a child. Connor then decided to take a turn at talking and compromising with Hank as I stood with hopeful eyes.

"Lieutenant Anderson, I understand you may have prejudice towards Androids for personal reasons but I am determined to solve this case" Connor said and Hank didn't reply. Connor once again tried at talking to Hank, taking a different and more lethal approach. "Lieutenant, if you are unwilling to work on this case then I would suggest you to resign from the case. I will not work with someone unwilling if they-" Connor was cut off by Hank abruptly standing and grabbing him by the collar and slamming him against the nearest wall.

"Listen here you tin canned smart phone piece of shit" Hank hissed through his teeth as I then intervened. "Hank I wouldn't suggest you to do that right now..." I say, placing my hand on his shoulder and looking up at him slightly. He then turned his anger filled face towards me and I returned his look by giving him a gentle one, the type that calms down any angry person in a situation. He then forcefully put down Connor as Connor appeared to remain unchanged throughout the whole ordeal.

"Lieutenant, we just got some information on the deviant AX400" a deputy informed as me and Hank exchanged a look. "Alright, we'll be on our way" he says and I nod.

"I call shotgun" I announce as Connor doesn't know what that means. "Shotgun? I do not detect any ammunition within the proximity of this area" it says, causing me to shake my head slightly in amusement. "No Connor, I called shotgun... Meaning I take the front passenger seat" I tell the confused Android as the LED light once again changes from a blue to a yellow and then transitions back to blue. "Oh... So by calling shotgun, you have called a 'claim' on the front passenger seat for this ride?" Connor asks and I nod to verify his inference.

"Interesting" I hear Connor say to itself. I don't make much of a comment as we all get inside and we drive to the destination that a witness told us where this deviant was last seen. "So far, signs of deviancy occurred in Androids who have experienced traumatic events that caused malfunctions in their software" Connor noted as Hank began to speak. "Now he speaks some fucking English. Justhalf an hour ago you ranted on using those large fancy pants words computers use" Hank commented as Connor frowned slightly.

"I was not aware that my pants seemed to be... Fancy" Connor commented and Hank looked as if he wanted to smash his face into the steering wheel multiple times. "That is yet another slang that humans use Connor" I explain as Connor then sits quietly for the rest of the ride. We arrive at the area, beginning to ask around and see if there was anything or anyone to give us any leads.

Our first stop was the Motel. We walked inside the Motel, going up to the desk as Hank begins to do all the talking. "I knew something was off about her!" The man behind the desk exclaimed in surprise. "Can you tell us what room the Android is hiding out in?" I ask nicely and the guy behind the desk points to the top floor. "Room 28" he says and we nod and head to the stairs of the Motel.

We get to the door, me and Hank pulling out our guns. We stand on either side of the door as Connor stands next to me. I give Hank the signature nod and he kicks in the door, breaking the lock and we look around the room. We noticed that someone was definitely here but we didn't find any traces of the deviant anywhere. We look into the bathroom and we see hair in the sink. I shook my head, knowing what this means as I walk up to Connor.

"Connor, Androids have the ability to change their hair color, correct?" I ask and Connor nods. "Yes, Androids couod change their hair color to any of the colors that are programed into them. The model AX400 is only able to change hair color to Black, Blonde, Brown, or white" Connor explains and I nod. "The Android didn't have a plan... Meaning that it could still be somewhere around here" I infer and Connor nods. "Correct" Connor inputs and Hank groans. "Well let's hurry up and get a move on! The damn thing might be close to the train station" Hank says, clearly irritated.

We go outside and we head towards the train station, only for me to see two hiding figures behind a bus stop. A closer look and I seen it was a female figure with black hair and the facial description of the deviant. I also notice that there is a little girl along with the deviant and I put my gun in the holster and begin to smoothly walk their direction. Hank and Connor turn back to see what I was doing and the two noticed the three of us. The deviant than ran with the little girl as I chased after them.

"Fucking hell" I nutter as I run as fast as I could and I see them climbing the fence at a pretty fast speed. I tried to catch the deviant's foot as it was going over but I couldn't catch it and the deviant was on the other side. Then the deviant took the little girl and they ran for the highway. Connor ran and jumoed onto the fence, attempting to go after them until I pulled him from the fence with the help of Hank.

"Let em' go, they won't get far" Hank commented as Connor's eyes stayed trained on them as they crossed the large highway, all in one piece. "Dammit!" I curse as I punch the dumpster that was to the right of me and Hank puts his hand on my shoulder, much similar to how I did back at the station with him. His look was understanding and warm as I mumbled to myself.

~Time skip~

After the day was over and it went to night time, I went back to my house to see my cat on my couch sleeping soundly. "I wish I could be that chill" I say to myself as I plop down onto the couch next to my cat, waking her up. "Oh I'm sorry (cat's name), I didn't mean to wake you" I say in a small hushed voice. She doesn't reply, instead she yawns and then comes and lays on my lap and curls up, going back to sleep as I flip through channels and watch TV.

After a while I needed to shower, smelling the stench of failure and today's hectic schedule boring into my skin. I move (cat's name) off of my lap, careful not to wake her and I go to my room to collect clothes in order to go to take my very needed shower. After taking off everything, I get into the water and let the warmth consume me. I began to hum to myself until I heard unusual noises coming from my living room. I didn't know what was going on so I turned off the water and wrapped the towel around me. I then took my gun off of the counter and out of the holster, making sure safety was not on.

Carefully I step out of the warm bathroom, the breeze of the house slightly chilling me and causing my short unshaved leg hairs to stand on end. My hair was damp and cold now as I quickly turned the corner and inside my living room I seen Connor, petting (cat's name) as I squint my eyes. "Connor... What are you doing here?" I ask, lowering my gun and putting safety back on as he looks up at me. "There was a crime reported at Eden club about 20 minutes ago and so I came to collect you and Lieutenant Anderson so that we can investigate" Connor explained and I sighed. "And that gave you the freedom to come inside my home uninvited... How? I ask, slightly irritated that I'm in the nude with only a towel as the cold air is flowing into my blanket and chilling me.

"I understand your point (Name) and if you want I can go back outside and-" "No need" I cut Connor off. "Just sit here and wait until I finish my shower" I tell Connor as he nods, eyes studying me until he finally speaks. "Yes, I shall. I do apologize for coming inside without invitation, especially since you are... Indecent at the moment" Connor says, putting emphasis on the word indecent. I then feel a slight discomfort as I feel embarrassment flood throughout me and I hurry back to the bathroom. I shut and locked the bathroom door as I put my back onto the door and I put my hands to my face, feeling the warmth my face was giving off. I don't even know why I felt that way or did that. It seemed... Strange that I'd do that.

What caused that? Maybe since he looked human I assumed Connor was human for a moment? Yeah, that must be it. I felt uncomfortable because of Connor looking human and I was uncomfortable because let's face it, I'd never go in front of a guy in just a towel unless we were together but... Connor isn't a human. That's what had me puzzled.

I didn't know what to do or how to feel at the moment so I sat on the tub floor and allowed the water to let the water wash away my thoughts.

God I'm so confused.
