Connor POV
This is it Connor, after this, there is no turning back.
"Yes, because of you" I reply and (Name) looks shocked. "But... What did I do?" (Name) asks me. "You made me feel emotions. Not only that, but you've caused a problem with my original mission." I tell her and she looks sorry for her actions. "I'm sorry Connor... I just... I... I don't know" she said apologetically. "But that doesn't change the worst possible thing you have done to me..." I tell her and she makes eye contact with me quickly before breaking it. She begins to let go of me, getting more distance between us before I pull her back in.
"You made me never want to leave you" I finish, struggling with my words. "But Connor-" "It was one of the times where I actually felt enjoyment out of something. Being around you made me buoyant for once. I didn't feel like a machine" I say and look down at her and she frowns. "But what does that have to do with anything?" (Name) asks me. "From every different concept of what I've encountered, I am 90 percent sure that what I've been feeling is an emotion of love for you (Name)" I tell her, letting it out.
What comes next was what was something that made my heart jump.
(Name) POV
"I... Love you too, Connor" I say while staring into his deep brown eyes. "What do you suppose we do now, (Name)?" Connor asks and I frowned. "I'm... Not sure. We can find a way, I'm sure of it" I say, not wanting to throw in the towel with Connor yet. "What if you don't have to work for Cyberlife anymore?" I ask Connor and he has a look of indecision on his face. "I've never known much of anything besides crime and Cyberlife (Name)... How would that work?" Connor asks me.
"Well, we could always get you to Jericho... I mean, think about it Connor. These Androids- these people only want their freedom. They don't want to be slaves to the human race anymore. To be treated like a minority. What if we've been fighting on the wrong side? That's what Hank told me yesterday when we seen a freedom March with Androids. They didn't want war or violence. They just want freedom from places like Cyberlife. With Cyberlife, it's a factory to create. It never was a home, and it never will be. Just think about it Connor" I say and his LED seemed to be changing between blue and yellow.
"What about the Lieutenant?" Connor asked and I laughed. "I'm sure he would gladly help us with this. He wants the same thing for you too Connor. He wants you to be free." I tell him. "But I thought the Lieutenant hated Androids" Connor frowns and I shake my head. "He used to, but only because he didn't want to accept the fact that the Androids weren't to blame for his son's death. It was a human doctor. Now, he cares for you too Connor. It's like you are the son he never had, and he wants you to be free. Free to be able to make your own decisions, not to have some company decide what you think." I reason, picking up my phone and dialing Hank's number.
On the second ring, he picks up. "The hell you want? This a telemarketer?" Hank's voice says through he line and I chuckle. "No Hank, it's me, (Name). I need you to come here and pay me a visit ASAP" I say through the phone. "What's this about?" Hank asks me and I try to find a way to word this the correct way in case the line is being monitored and listened in on. "It's about something I've seen on the news. You've gotta see this" I say, hopefully making it believable enough. "I don't why I should but sure, why not. Only, I don't like how much my gas bill has gone up lately" Hank complains. "Oh hurry up you big baby and come see this" I tease, hanging up afterwards. I go to the room to change clothes, Connor standing in the doorway as I pick clothes to wear.
"Yes Connor, what do you need?" I ask and Connor walks over and sits on the edge of the bed. "How do... Human couples behave?" He asks me and I think for a moment. "Well... Human relationships are a lot more... Complex, but they do have feelings for one another. It's like... They try to be the other half to their partner. To be there for them, to love them unconditionally, and they even get intimate. Having proper communication is also a strong point in a human relationship." I explain.
"What type of intimacy do couples go through?" Connor asks curiously as I pick out undergarments from my dresser. Nothing special, just simple black. "Well, they go through... Kissing, hugging, and once they feel they are ready to give their other half their heart and soul they have intercourse. Although, it doesn't always happen that way, I'd like to think that it works that way" I say with a frown.
"(Name), have you ever had sexual intercourse before?" Connor asks me curiously and I nod. "Yeah... I have" I responded and he turned his head to the side. "What was it like? Did you give that person your heart and soul as you said?" Connor asks and I shook my head. "It wasn't anything special for me. It didn't even feel like he was the right person for me... But I tried to share my love for him, that was in the police academy. Today, I realize I made the right choice by leaving him after I caught him doing red ice." I say, grabbing a towel and my pile of clothes from off of the bed.
"So it did not feel right?" Connor asked. I stopped in the doorway and turned back to look at him from the corner of my eye. "I mean... There are pleasures of sexual intercourse yes, but I did not feel connected to him. It simply only felt like lust" I say and go to the bathroom. I undressed and got into the shower, turning on the water and allowing myself to feel the flowing water relax my muscles. Only a minute later did I hear a knock on the bathroom door.
"Yes Connor?" I called out and I heard Connor's voice from the other side. "Can I hear more about the idea of... 'love making' as you would put it?" Connor asked from the other side of the door. I sigh and lean my head onto the shower wall, allowing water to slide down my back. "Yeah, come in" I say, giving in. I mean, who would be able to say no to such an innocent answer? "You can sit or stand anywhere, just not in here with me right now" I tell Connor with a stern voice. I hear a noise and then Connor says a small 'Ok'. "What do you want to know?" I ask as I squirt body wash onto my loafer. "How it works" Connor responds simply and I purse my lips, happy that I'm at least not having direct eye contact with him.
"Well, couldn't you just search it up? I mean you are pretty much able to do that, right?" I ask. "No, it doesn't work like that. I'm only able to access certain things which were installed into my data base. I did not have these concepts installed into my data base, so I cannot simply 'search it up'" Connor responds and I think for a brief moment. "Oh..." I say and I hear my doorbell. "How about you go open the door for Hank, yeah? And then we can discuss this later." I suggest, wishing to wash away my intense bad thoughts about Connor away.
As much as I didn't want to admit it, I was curious on how he worked. If he was different from the Traci models at the Eden club or not, but I stopped before I got too ahead of myself. I decided that I wouldn't rush my shower too much, deciding I could trust Connor with Hank for a while and not do something crazy. But boy oh boy how wrong I was...
~Le time skip to after the shower~
I walk out of the bathroom, my clothes in hand as I walk through the living room to go down to the basement and out the clothes into the washer. I passed up Connor and Hank, glancing over to see an enthusiastic expression on Connor's face. The fsct that this is the first time this has occurred is what is concerning, seeing as Connor doesn't usually look visually enthusiastic. "Hank..." I start, glancing between the two. "...What did you do?" I ask, feeling like something was off.
Connor jumped up, ready to tell me what happened. "I learned how the process of intercourse worked (Name)" Connor said and a horrified expression was visibly seen on me. "We'll talk about how you've ruined Connor's innocence later" I say while glaring at Hank, him putting his hands up in a mock surrender. I go downstairs to put my clothes in a washer and I take some from the basket and put them in there. I do all the boring stuff necessary for washing clothes and then go back upstairs, sitting down on the couch opposite of Hank and Connor.
"So what's this about?" Hank asked me. "I have a plan" I respond, causing Hank to raise a brow. "And what are you planning?" Hank asked, his interest piqued.
"To free Connor from the reigns of Cyberlife of course" I respond and Hank chokes on whatever he was drinking. "Hold on, what?" He asked. I smiled at him kindly.
"Exactly as you heard" I say and we begin to talk about what to do. Planning it out carefully so that it could be full proof.
