(Name) POV

I woke up, feeling pain all over my body as I tried to move. I noticed that I was in my bedroom, bandaged up and in different clothes as I tried to get up. A hand pushed me back down and my vision focused, seeing Connor staring at me with a stern look.

I laid back down with a sigh, closing my eyes and breathing at a steady pace. I then opened my eyes, getting ready to speak until Connor held up his index finger, signaling me to wait. He left the room, coming back in with a cup of water and a couple pain killer pills as I felt a slight sting in my head. Connor helped me sit up and I reached for the cup and pills. Connor pulled them away, confusing me as Connor then proceeded to crush up the pills and put them in my drink for me.

I was finally given the cup and I drank it all, setting the cup on the nightstand once I finished. My throat felt less dry and I felt a bit better. I licked my lips and then I finally spoke. "What happened?" I asked Connor.

"Well, in the night the day before yesterday you suffered from abdominal pain and a injury on your head. You were rushed to the hospital where you were given four stitches to help the wound in your head and they took a look at you. The Traci caused minor internal bleeding which should be healed by now, now that you have woken up. After that, we were allowed to bring you home. The medication you have just taken were painkillers and another to help make sure the internal bleeding is all set. You may feel minor pains for the next 2-3 days but nothing major" Connor explained as I shook my head.

"Alright, but that doesn't explain who dressed me. Please don't tell me you let Gavin do it" I say with a sigh at the thought, a shiver running down my spine. "We did not let detective Reed dress you, but we did ask one of your female colleges to-" I cut off Connor as I got up and sprinted to the bathroom, slamming the door shut and getting the sweet release of being able to pee. I felt a small cramp type pain in my stomach but it was nothing major.

I walked out of the bathroom, seeing Hank asleep on my couch with... Sumo here? Sumo was asleep on the floor in front of the couch and the strangest part was... Was that (cat's name) was sleeping on the Sumo. Connor then came up behind me and startled me, causing me to jump slightly. "Don't do that!" I whisper yelled, not wanting to wake Hank up. "I apologize for my behavior" Connor apologized and Hank still woke up, groaning as he opened his eyes and looked over to us. "Jesus (Name), put on some goddamned pants" Hank commented and I looked down to see I was only wearing an oversized T-shirt. I felt embarrassment swell inside of me as I scooted back into the hallway, Hank looking away. Connor, however, did not look away. "Connor stop being such a pervert and avert your eyes" Hank hissed and Connor looked at Hank confused, as I disappeared behind the corner and out of sight.

"Lieutenant, what's a... Pervert?" I heard Connor ask and I disappeared into my room before shutting the door and stopped listening to what they said. 'That was embarrassing!' I thought to myself as I groaned.

I decided to try to forget about it, key word being try. I put on black suit pants and a (Favorite color) button up shirt, rolling up the sleeves to my elbows to the best of my ability and putting on my black shoes. Nothing special really, except for the stitches in my head which I didn't really feel much. I just brushed my hair, nothing special and then brushed my teeth and washed my face. I walked out, not caring about doing makeup like people would think I did. I personally did not care much to put on makeup, I put it on according to my mood.

I walked out of the room, grabbing three cereal bars and going to the front door without speaking another word to the guys. "Alright, Sumo let's go" Hank said and the Saint Bernard stood up and walked over to the door. (Cat's name) was off eating from her bowl and so she came around the corner and rubbed up against my legs. I bent down and pet her, getting a soft purr in return as she does the same with Connor. He gets down on one knee and also pets her and she purrs and rubs her head into his palm.

"Alright (cat's name) Connor's nice but we gotta go. Be good while I'm gone" I tell her as she walks off, not caring anymore. Typical cat attitudes. Hank leads the way to his car and Sumo gets in the back, me deciding that I'd want to be sitting in the back with Sumo. "I call shotgun" Connor says and I smile. "And shotgun you may have" I tell him as we get in our seats. Hank doesn't say much but I see Connor's eyes from the mirror in the car as he watches me pet Sumo. "I like dogs" Connor says and I smile. "Do you like cats?" I ask and Connor nods. "I like all animals" Connor replies and I go back to petting Sumo and we drive up to Hank's home. "Alright, let me put Sumo away and we'll be on our way" Hank says and Sumo goes in the house with Hank.

"That is the most I've seen of him where he hasn't had one curse word in a sentence" I say, trying to make conversation. "Yes, he's been rather... Tender ever since you've gotten hurt" Connor explained and I slightly frown. "What do you mean by that?" I ask and Connor turns to face me. "Exactly as said (Name), seemingly the Lieutenant did not want to see you hurt almost as if he... Cares for you" Connor says and I think about it for a moment.

"Si what you're saying, is that Hank might care for me?" I ask and Connor nods. "Yes, that is the point I've been explaining to you" he replies and I smile at the idea of actually having one of my biggest inspirations care for my well being. "I find that rather pleasing in my life at the moment" I confess to Connor and he turns his head to the side in confusion. "What do you mean by that?" Connor asks me confusedly. "Well, years ago when I was but a teenager I would stay tuned in on Hank to see what he's been up to and how awesome at solving crimes he was, and if course still is. All those years ago I went through some tough times and so I looked at Hank and he became one of the biggest role models in my life. I had lost my father recently, he was a very good man and so Hank inspired me to work at solving crimes and helping society. No matter how badly society treated me in the past. And- well, Hank is coming. If you want to know more on this story, I could tell you if you swing by my house sometime and we could properly have a conversation" I tell Connor.

"I would find that rather enjoyable. When will I be able to?" Connor asked me. I shrugged at his question. "Whenever you find the best fit time for you" I respond as all conversation goes off as Hank opened the door.

"So... What were you two talking about?" Hank asked.
