"You're four months pregnant" Dr. Martin said as she rubbed the cold gel stuff on my stomach.
"Wait isn't four months like really far along?" I coughed confused.
"I wouldn't say really far along but yeah you're getting there" She smiled at me.
"If she is four months pregnant why hasn't she been showing any signs of pregnancy?" Brendon asked sitting in the chair next to me holding my hand.
"It's hard to determine but Avery could've went through the whole pregnancy without showing any real signs, its more common than you think" She explained.
"Well then it's a good thing we found out huh" I said shuddering under the cold gel.
"Yes this way we can monitor the baby and its always good to be prepared" She smiled. "Looks like we can determine the gender of the baby" She exclaimed moving the scanner over my stomach. "Would you guys like to know or keep it a surprise?" Dr. Martin asked. I looked at Brendon and he nodded.
"We wanna know" I said excitedly.
"What were you hoping for?" Dr. Martin asked curiously.
"I want a baby girl I can spoil" Brendon said nervously anticipating the doctor to tell us the gender of our unborn baby.
"What about mommy? What were you hoping for?" She asked.
"Honestly I always wanted a son first so if we plan on having more kids" I began to explain.
"Which we do" Brendon chimed in.
"I want any daughter I have to have an older brother to protect her." I smiled.
"Well looks like its gonna be daddy's little girl!" Dr. Martin smiled. "Congratulations the nurse will be right in to clean you up." She smiled shook out hands and walked out.
"We're having a baby girl" I whispered to Bren.
"Don't worry she'll have her daddy to protect her" Brendon exclaimed kissing my lips softly. "I love you"
"I love you too Bren"
"And I love you" Brendon said talking to my stomach.
The nurse came in a little while later and cleaned the gel of my stomach. She explained I had to come back in a few weeks for another check up and I should make an appointment before I leave. She then gave me the card of the doctor so I can call if I have any worries or questions. When we left the doctors office we decided on having lunch with Dallon and his family to tell him the news.
"So how was the doctors?" Dallon asked.
"She is four months along" Brendon said squeezing my hand.
"Wait four months! Were they able to tell the sex of the baby?" Breezy asked. I nodded quickly.
"And you're still sure your pregnant?" Dallon asked eyeing me suspiciously.
"For the billionth time yes Dallon I am pregnant!" I groaned.
"Fine will I have a goddaughter or godson?" Dallon questioned.
"Woah who said you could be the babies godfather?" Brendon laughed.
"Shut up and tell me Urie you are driving me insane!" Dallon whined.
"It's a girl!" I squealed. Breezy's face lit up.
"Oh my god I can't wait to go shopping for baby clothes and furniture and toys!" Breezy exclaimed. "Oh my gosh I have to throw you a baby shower!" She squealed.
"Will I get to see the baby?" Amelie asked.
"Of course but she wasn't born yet she's still inside Avery's belly" Breezy explained to her daughter.
"Yeah you guys are gonna be cousins!" Brendon said giving Amelie a high five. I can tell he's gonna be an amazing dad.
"Have you picked out a name yet?" Dallon asked.
"Dallon we literally just left the doctors office we didn't even think we'd know the gender for at least a month." I laughed.
"So is that a no?" Dallon pouted.
"Yes Dallon" I sighed.
"Wait you do have a name?" He perked up.
"No, no name yet!" Brendon said rubbing his temples.
