Summary: Based off Demi Lovato’s song “Sorry Not Sorry”- A few months after you and Tom break up, the two of you see each other at a movie premiere that you were invited to attend with a friend of yours. Tom regrets everything, but you don’t.

Warnings: Slight swearing, slight angst, and some innuendos.

Words: 995 (sorry it’s short)

“You look stunning.” Your friend told you as you got into the car that was talking the both of you to the premiere, you sent her a sly smile as you pulled your phone out and prepared to take a selfie for you insta, “You know who’s gonna be there tonight, right?” She asked after the two of you posed.

You simply smirked as you posted the picture before looking back over at her, “I’m looking like a ten, and I’m feeling the best I’ve felt in a while…Hecan’t ruin it for me, I’m over it.” You said cockily as the car pulled up the venue, camera’s flashing as your friend opened the door, laughing at your words, “Well, I’m glad. You look like revenge, if I’m being honest.” You laughed at her words and cocked your head to the side.

“That’s kind of the point!” And as you stepped out of the car, the paps went wild, taking their focus off the devil himself. You smiled happily as you followed your friend onto the red carpet, smiling and hugging people who joked about Tom regretting the break up.

Tom was surprised to say the least when he saw you step out the sleek black Merc, he knew you had friends in the industry but didn’t know that he would see you so soon after the break up. It had been about three months since the night he walked out on you, and if you had asked him now he would say that leaving you for his career was the worst mistake he had ever made. His eyes stayed trained on you as you laughed and smiled for the paps as they trained their camera’s on you and that tight fitting dress.

“(y/n), what happened between you and Tom Holland?!”

“Will you get back with Tom!?”

You only laughed and looked over to find Tom’s eyes already staring at you. You sent him a sly smirk as you placed a hand on your hip, answering the crew of camera’s, “He had bigger and better things to attend to, but it seems like I did too. I bet this stings, it’s a big pill to swallow to see your exe. But, clearly, I’m on fire and he’s the one getting burned.” You chuckled out.

Tom was flabbergasted at your words, and shook his head out of the daze he was in. When did you get all this confidence, and where did you get this confidence? He smirked and shook his head as he walked off the carpet and into the movie theater. You and your friend followed shortly after, grabbing drinks as you made your way into the movie theater and made your way to your seats.

Ironically, your seat was right in front of Tom’s, and you smirked as you watched his short curls turn to look at your from the corner of his eye. You swung your hips back and forth, the way you had done for him so many months ago and here you were again, doing the same thing but for awhole different reason. You slowly sat in your seat, moving your hair over your shoulder so you could catch his wide-eyed stare.

When the movie ended and you made your way to the after party, you and your friend chatted about Tom’s reactions to you tonight, “If he doesn’t regret what he did to you after tonight, then he doesn’t have eyes. Literally every man in that theater had their eyes on you when you walked in,including Tom.”

“Oh, how that tables have turned.” You exclaimed as the two of you walked to the bar, getting another drink and making your way to the dance floor so that the two of you could dance the night away. The night seemed to move quickly, between the drinks and the food and the music, it was the most fun you’d had since the break up. Confidence was radiating off of you and people seemed to be attracted to it, along with the smooth black dress you were in.

Suddenly, two familiar hands were on your waist and a cheek pressed against your temple. You rolled your eyes before grinding your hips into his, listening closely as he apologized for the break up. His apologies moving past his lips quickly, practically begging you to come back home with him that night and to forgive him. You moved your arms around his neck, turning around and moving closely to him. He smirked down at you, trying to pull you in with his charisma, but you knew how to handle him.

“It hurts doesn’t, baby?” You said huskily in his ear, he let out a deep groan while he pulled you closer to him, pulling you flush up against him. You smirked as you moved a hand to his hair, pulling it as he answered.

“My God,” He huffed out as you pulled his curls, “Give me a second chance, darlingI’m sorry.” He let out in short breaths as you kissed at his ear lobe, you smiled slyly as you pulled back. His expression looked as if he were a little boy, begging for a sweet in a candy shop. You smoothed down his hair and moved your fingers under his chin, moving in close as if you were going to kiss him, only to stop right as your lips began to touch.

“Well, babe, I’m not.”

You pulled away from him quickly, moving away from him and towards your friend, waving at him cheekily. His eyes were desperate, and he had a ‘friend’ to attend to in a bad way. You laughed as his eyes about popped out of his head, watching as you walked away.

“This has been good, darling”, You called out over your shoulder jokingly, turning and raise your glass to him, your smiled the widest it’s ever been.

“Payback is a bad bitch, and I’m the baddest.”
