| Chapter 7 |

Y/N closed the door of the staircase, still nervous to take the elevator. Despite that she hadn't seen Ian in days, ever since the incident. She still always took the stairs, which always took her breath away. But hey it was a good workout right?

She hadn't seen Tom either, well-that wasn't true. When her and Liv came home she found a huge bouquet of roses on her counter with a note that read, Too cliché? - Tom. Along with his number. The gesture sent butterflies into Y/N's stomach. Liv had freaked out slightly and since her meeting with Harrison, claiming that he was the hottest guy she had ever seen. Since then she had made it clear that Y/N was to date Tom, but Y/N thought that maybe it was because she had not stopped talking about Harrison.

Letting out a breath, Y/N unlocked her door and closed it behind her. She turned her arms filled with groceries, jumping as her eyes connected with Tom's.

"What-" A couple of items dropped from her arms. "What-what are you doing here?" She swallowed.

"Does this place even have heat?" He asked, pushing himself off of the counter. He looked good, really good. He wore a light blue T-shirt complete with leather jacket. Fuck.

"I...." Y/N swallowed. "I...turn it off when I'm n-not home." She mumbled making her way to the counter. She struggled to put things on the counter. Tom leaned forward and grabbed some of her things, helping her with the weight.

"You know that might actually be more expensive love." Tom chuckled as he grabbed a can that was going to fall off the counter. Y/N swallowed and pushed her groceries back on the counter. "You uh-you kept my flowers." He smiled at the roses next to them.

"Well-they-they are really pretty." Y/N swallowed. Tom smiled a little as she looked up at him. "But-what-what are you doing here?" She asked. Fuck, she didn't know what to say. This was so...weird.

"I was thinking I'd take you out tonight." He smiled. Y/N froze, her eyes widening.

"Like-like a d-date?" Y/N stuttered a little.

"Exactly like a date darling." Tom smiled. Y/N paused, her hands shaking slighty.

"I-I have p-plans." She swallowed.

"You do?" Tom asked and leaned forward. No, she didn't. Y/N looked away, biting her lip slightly.

"Um-" Y/N swallowed. "Yeah I do-" She moved some of the food from her bags. "You know with people who don't randomly show up in my apartment." She mumbled, a little more confident.

"Well you didn't call me." Tom shrugged, looking at her as she put some things in the fridge.

"That usually means the girl isn't interested." Y/N mumbled.

"So she's not interested?" Tom asked, handing her the half gallon of milk. Y/N bit her lip and accepted it.

"No, she's not." Y/N swallowed. There was a silence before Y/N closed the door and she looked back to him, shivering at the smirk on his face.

"Then are you interested?" He asked, raising his eyebrows. Y/N frowned, looking away.

"It's like, no one has ever said no to you." Y/N mumbled and turned away.
