Perrie stands there, staring at the back of the front door with a blank expression on her face as she realizes Jade's not coming back.

This can't be true, she tells herself. The confectioner grabs her phone and calls Jesy. She does not pick up, so the blonde tries calling Leigh Anne, but there's no answer either. She doesn't know what to do, but manages to think of one thing; she needs to call Jade.

As the business owner anxiously waits for the brunette to pick up, her hands start shaking and she finds herself taking quick, short breaths. She knows she must calm down but it's impossible; what if Jade was in a car accident? What if she is currently bleeding in the middle of nowhere, waiting for someone to save her? Or  what if she simply... left?

"Jade?" Perrie asks when the phone is picked up. She waits for a reply, but it doesn't come. All she can hear on the other side of the line is sniffing. She guesses the same silent sobs she has sadly gotten to know in the past few months are there as well. "You didn't say goodbye." The white surrounding her iris turns red, but she holds herself back from crying. She's stronger than this. "You didn't even tell me you were leaving!"

The blonde is angry. She can't stand what she sees in her mind right now: the memories they had together, the comfort they found in each other and the moments they shared. She hates how secured she used to feel with Jade, and mostly, how much she trusted her. Based on their history, she should have known better.

"I know, I-" The princess tries to speak but doesn't have a thing to say. Her leaving has to do with longing for independance, but how is she supposed to explain Perrie that all the help the confectioner gave her has actually ruined everything? "I know."

"So you don't care." The younger woman says with a cold voice. "You have never stopped for a damn second and thought about how I feel! I  gave you everything I have, everything you needed, but when I'm used, you leave. Goodbye, Jade." She hangs up the phone and goes to the coffee table. The blonde picks up the flowers and the note she left for the brunette.

Welcome home, Princess

She walks to the kitchen and throws both into the trash. They mean nothing now.
