Sorry for being gone for so long... Life had other plans. Anyways It's Roman's turn. I found his characterisation particularly interesting... let's see how that pans out.
--Roman--
Roman parked his car with a reassuring crank of the hand break. His fingers drummed on the steering wheel. Soft thrrump thrrump sounds filled the car, and then suddenly ceased.
"This is NOT good. Pull your socks up, Roman!" he muttered to himself. "Everyone tells you're brave. You've done this before. Just go play the part. You're loud, you're hot, you're – huh. Who am I kidding."
He sat and pondered. Life had always come easy to Roman. His parents were not wealthy beyond belief, but the were considerably well off: Roman had never been in want of anything. Well besides his wish to have a dragon pony when he was seven. His parents had compensated by getting him his own pony, a sweet sugar white filly he named Myrtle Pony. On one adventurous summer they had visited Komodo Island in Indonesia, an experience that Roman hadn't particularly enjoyed but nevertheless made a good story for him to brag to his friends and anyone who he encountered, really.
For all he had in terms money – and truly his couture would make a princess green with envy – Roman felt he lacked something pivotal. Not one to worry too much on the confusing things in life, he embraced an unwavering zest for life and unquenchable desire to surround himself with a circle of friends. Some close, some not so. Did he go out of his way to impress others? Yes. But that's the way he was.
He slid out of the car in one graceful move and leant casually against the side; a picture-perfect brooding man. A passing by student couldn't help but check him out.
"You got this." said Roman to himself a bit louder than he realised. He shook himself and shrugged on a red leather jacket. His finely cut messenger bag went over one shoulder, and he stooped down to tighten his shoelaces once more. He studied his face carefully in the side view mirror. A few stray strands of curly copper hair were tucked neatly behind one ear.
Roman straightened and looked up at the blue sky above him. It was a bright and sunny day. Anything was possible.
Show time.
He strode up to the façade of The Caeruleum University. He was going to own his first day here, dazzle everyone, and everyone was going to love him.
But if one was to dazzle his peers, one must first find some potential fans. Roman looked around the crowded courtyard as he passed under the grand archway that stood at the entrance. This part should be easy, he thought with a confident smile.
He noticed two girls walking by. One had an oversized grey hoodie on and a permanent frown clouded her face. Looks like a warrior princess. What am I gonna call her? Storm Queen. Eh. Cliché. Looks like she can do some mean damage. Stormy Spear? That's more like it. Next to her was a bouncy girl with two big bunched of pink hair. Balsam Bubble, decided Roman. He strolled over, hands in pockets.
When he got close enough, he slapped on a playful smile and waved. Balsam Bubble returned it immediately.
"Hi there, ladies -"
"Stop right there, mister!" said Storm Spear. "Stop hitting on my girlfriend."
"Oh... you two are together?" Roman responded, slightly flustered.
"This is where I say, 'You got a problem with that?'" she deadpanned, crossing her arms while Balsam Bubble's eyes darted worriedly between the two of them.
"No! My apologies, that is what I not what I intended." He rubbed the back of his neck. "I'm gay too." He squeaked.
"Awww! That was so cute!" Balsam Bubble jumped up and down on the same spot. "Huggie!" she squealed throwing her arms around Roman.
