"Define development." I caution, slowly walking out of the kitchen.
"Like, umm, three boys you know are currently severely injured in the Hospital Wing." Ginny elaborates.
I tense up, "Which boys would that be?"
"Ronan, Ronald," Pansy inhales deeply, "and Draco."
Instantly, my senses heighten, and the only thing on my mind is making sure my mate- Draco- is okay. "The cookies can wait. I'm going to Draco." I growl.
Luna stays back and promises to watch the cookies.
As we race down to the Hospital Wing, Pansy and Ginny tell me what happened.
"They were chatting, down by the lake, Luna Ginny and I were a couple of feet away..." Pansy looks for Ginny to continue.
"Then this weird guy appeared out of nowhere, screamed something like 'ha-da' at the tree, disappeared, and then this strange symbol glowed on the tree trunk."
"And the tree exploded." Pansy finished.
"And Blaise was...?" I wonder aloud.
"He was swimming."
As we run into the Hospital Wing, I see Ron sitting up on a gurney.
Pansy sprints to his side. "Thank Merlin you're okay!"
Ronan was awake on the cot next to him, but laying down.
"Oh, Ronan! You're lucky..." Ginny whispers, holding his hand.
I scan the room once more, looking for a sign of Draco when my brain starts yelling 'Last cot! 'Last cot!' So, I run to the final set of curtains, rip them open and see a bloody and bruised, but awake Draco Malfoy.
"You're okay..." I murmur. "I was so scared!" I kiss his forehead gently.
"Finny... You're here..." He croaks slowly.
"Yeah..." Tears start to fall onto my cheeks, "yeah. I'm here."
