Today's the day. Ginny is finally forcing us all to go dress and tux shopping. So now, in London, Pansy exits her dressing room for the seventh time, once again wearing the first dress she tried on.
"This is it!" she claps. "Now, we have to find you ladies' bridesmaid dresses!"
Luna and I chose mismatched plum dresses, and Ginny picked out a stunning silver gown.
Next was Luna, who had three options, and chose her dress in record time. Our only parameters for bridesmaid dresses were lace and her wedding colors. Ginny chose a gray lace halter top gown. Pansy chose a long-sleeved yellow low-back dress with lace accents. I picked out a navy floor-length tank top dress.
Ginny's wedding dress is a mermaid gown with a tulle skirt. I grabbed a low-cut, gold, satin gown. Pansy picked out an a-line, V-neck, slit wine red dress. Luna eventually, decided on a two-piece gold wrap outfit.
Finally, it's my turn. I try on a lace, cap sleeve, corset gown and automatically know it's the one. Once they all like the dress as much as I do, they show me their bridesmaid dress choices.
Genie holds up a sequined, low back, fitted gold dress. Pansy shows me a deep V-neck, tulle, full-length black dress. And Luna presents a mauve halter simple ensemble.
After dress shopping, we went to a local café and discussed our weddings.
"So, who is getting married first?"I asked. "Mine is November 30."
"Well, mine is the week before yours," Pansy replies.
"Ronan wanted November 2nd."
"So the order is Ginny, Pansy, me, and then Luna" I recite. "Who's in your guys' wedding parties?"
"Just you guys, a majority of my Slytherin acquaintances have shunned me..." Pansy shares.
Luna nods in solidarity. "I never had many friends in Ravenclaw. So it's just us."
"The Gryffindor girls only talked to me to get to my brothers, so yeah, just us." Ginny discloses.
I laugh at Ginny's description of the other girls. "It's only you guys, I'd rather not have the whore corps ruining my wedding, thank you very much!"
All the girls snicker at the name.
"I forgot about that nickname!" Ginny cackles. "You always came up with the best nicknames for the people who were less than pleasant to be around."
"Wait, what was mine?" Pansy pushes, intrigued.
"The ferret's concussed troll."
"What about the boys? You were always complaining about them."
"Ronan was Desirable No. 1, we called Ronald by his middle name, Billius, Draco was the Vanishing Ferret, and Blaise was Slytherin Slug Shoo-In." Ginny recites, her face shining with glee.
