Colby's Pov

"But Sam, I don't wanna go to that stupid party." I whined.

"It's just down the road, and you are going." 

"You can't make me." I replied.

"Actually I can. Wanna know why? Well I'm gonna tell you. If you don't go, I will not do the exploring video we planned. And if you go, I will obviously do the vid." Sam said matter-of-factly.

"Wooooww, black-mailing your bestfriend."

"Yup!" He replied, evil grin intact.

"Then I guess I have to go." I replied with a long breath.

3 hours later

"Colllbbbbyyyyy, it's time to go to the party!" Sam yelled at me.

"Almost ready!" I yelled back.

"Well hurry up!"

I ignored that last comment and sat on my bed reading fan comments, and I liked a few to make the fans happy.

After I thought Sam would get really mad at me, I left my room and walked downstairs.

"You take forever to get ready. And you're only wearing a hoodie with jeans!" Sam exclaimed.

"That's because I was sitting on my bed reading fan comments." I replied. Sam just ignored my reasoning and went out of the gate.

I followed not far behind. We were walking because the party was almost 3 houses down from ours. Once we got to the party, I went straight to the food table.

I had told Sam where I was going to, and when I did, I got a turkey and cheese sandwich because they're amazeballs.

After that, I went to the back of the room to chill. Then, I saw the most beautiful girl in the world. She was also wearing a hoodie with black ripped jeans. I could see the strands of brown hair out of the hoodie.

She has to be mine.

I started walking over to her, and this other drunk girl "bumped" into me. "Hey there cutie. Why don't we go up to a bedroom and 'talk'." She said.

"No thanks, I'm kinda busy."

She scoffed and walked away. When I turned to keep walking towards the girl, she wasn't in sight. I started to feel all sad.

"That stupid drunk person messed up my chance." I said under my breath.

Sam ended up finding me and told me it was time to go. When we started walking out, I saw the same girl go into a car with a guy. And of course I assumed that they were dating.

And I was right.

Once she got in they kissed. I felt crushed. Then we actually started walking back.

"It was like love at first sight." I told Sam as we were walking back to our house.

"I've had that feeling before, man. I'm with Kat now, maybe you can have the same." Sam replied to me with hope.
