Colby's Pov

After breakfast Sam and I went back to the house. I wanted to ask Teagan how her day was, but when I tried to call, she didn't answer. And that is really weird because she always answers my calls.

I try and call her again but it goes straight to voicemail.

"What is happening," I mumble to myself.

Instead of just standing there, I decided to take action. I called Brennen because she was at his house last. He answered on the third ring.

"Hey Colby, what's up?" He asked.

"I need to know where Teagan is. She hasn't answered any of my calls and the last place she was at was your house." I replied urgently.

"I'm sorry man, but she left my house about an hour ago. I'll check to see if her car is still here." Brennen replied worried.

There was a couple moments of silence on the other side, except for the door opening and closing.

"Her car is still here, but there is a note." He mumbled a weird while I was still standing here.

"What does it say?" I asked scared.

"Oh god. No no no no no! Colby this is not good. Get over here now!" He ordered me after a couple of seconds.

"Why what does it say?" I questioned while getting my keys.

"There is no time to explain. Just get here and I'll show you." With that Brennen hung up.

"Please be okay."

Once I got to Brennen's, I immediately jumped out if my car and ran up to his door. Before I could even knock, Brennen pulled me inside.

"What did it say on the note?" I asked urgently.

"You won't like it," He admitted looking down slightly. But I didn't care. Instead if him reading it to me, I took the note from his hands and read it.

Finally. After all this time I finally have Teagan. She didn't deserve Colby. I'm her one true love. And I'll show that by caressing every inch of her body. Good luck finding us, but if you do, Teagan will be beyond repair from when I'm done with her. Good luck assholes.

I kept rereading the note over and over again before I threw it on the floor. I started to shake from anger and I needed to punch something. I decided on punching Brennen's counter. Over and over again.

"Colby. Colby, stop. We'll find her," Brennen reasurred me although I could see the uncertainty in his eyes.

I could feel my eyes getting watery. I couldn't cry, not here and not now. Brennen gave me a sympathetic look and brought me into an embrace.

That was when I lost it. I unleashed all my tears. My cries came out as muffled sobs because my face was in Brennen's shoulder.

"W-we have to find her. Let's go to the p-police," I managed to choke out. Brennen nodded and grabbed his keys while I wiped all the tears from off my face.

We left his house and went on our way to the police.

Once we made it to the police station, we jumped out of Brennen's truck and ran into the building. I had the note gripped tightly in my hand as well.

"We would like to report a kidnapping case," I stated boldly to the man at the front desk. The man nodded before asking us a series of questions.
