Colby's Pov

It has been one week since Teagan went into the coma. One cruel fucking week.

I have been a mess since then. Barely taking showers, barely eating. I even started shutting out my friends.

It's killing me to know that Teagan isn't making any new progress. She has been the same ever since a couple of days ago. Her bruises are all cleared up so that's a good thing.

Will, Brennen, plus the roommates all try to have me leave the hospital. Especially Sam. I feel like I shouldn't be too hard on him since he's my best friend. But it's hard when the person you love is in the hospital.

Looking at Teagan, I start to wonder why she wasn't waking up. Voicing my thoughts, the heart monitor spiked up.

My heart jumped at the noise. "Teagan? Can you hear me baby?" It spiked again.

Tears of joy started coming out of my eyes. I called Will and told him Teagan's heart monitor spiked up. He was ecstatic and hung up on me to drive here.

Next, I called the nurses. Two ran in the room asking what was wrong. I told them that Teagan had a reaction to  my voice.

"Can you do it again please?" One of them asked Teagan. The heart monitor spiked again and the nurses were overjoyed.

They were all saying how she should wake up in a few hours or so. I was so happy to hear that. The tears of joy were still falling down my face.

Right as I was about to say something to the nurses, Will slammed the door open. "How's my baby sister?" All the nurses had told him what happened. How I called them whenever Teagan's heart spiked when I talked to her.

After they were done telling him, he looked to me with a huge grin. Sauntering over to me, he thanked me. About a thousand times.

The nurses left us and we sat down beside Teagan. No one could wipe off the huge grin that occupied my face. No one. Not even Shea.

Will told me a couple of moments ago that he called the roommates plus Brennen, and that they should be here soon. That made my smile get even bigger. If possible.

It's been a while since I've had a real smile. I was definitely dampening everyone's mood being around me.

Teagan is my rock, as said before, I can't live without her. She is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Other than my friends, but you get my point.

Not even ten minutes later, the rest of the roommates run right into the room. Will and I had to calm them down because they kept firing question after question.

I was releived that there was so many people that cared about Teagan. Will and Brennen made sense, but the rest of them I'm really happy with.

Once Teagan wakes up, she will be so happy to see all the people that care for her waiting.

I'm sure the first person she would want to talk alone with would be Will. Then maybe me or Brennen, but probably Brennen cause she has known him longer.

And I will be fine with that. As long as I get to talk to her, I will be ecstatic.

"Visiting hours are over. You all need to leave." A nurse said upon coming into the room. We all groaned but listened none the less.

I was the last one in the room. The nurse urged me to leave but I still lingered.

"Can I give her a kiss on the cheek real quick?" She reluctantly agreed and finished checking up on Teagan's vitals.

I walked over to Teagan and smiled again. "Even though you aren't awake yet, I still have hope. I love you, Teagan. Please wake up soon." Then I kissed her on the cheek.

The nurse pushed me out of the room and I caught up with the rest of the group. They were all shocked that I was actually coming home. I told them that Teagan should wake up soon, so I don't have to worry. They accepted my answer.

Sam patted my back and gave me an encouraging smile. I smiled back.

The rest of the group were all talking about what they wanted to tell Teagan when she wakes up. Me on the other hand was thinking about Teagan's birthday in a couple of weeks. I have the perfect present. The only person who knows is, obviously Sam.

I hope Teagan likes it.

Upon arriving back at the house, I went straight to my room. I put on pajamas, laid in my bed, and turned on Netflix on my iPad.

Today was a good day. I just hope that she wakes up tomorrow.

With that thought in mind, I turned on The Umbrella Academy and watched it. I was on episode 6 and it was getting really good.

After the episode ended, I felt myself drift off. Then my eyes closed and I was succumbed to darkness.
