Colby's Pov

I didn't know what to say.

The girl from the party was here!

Hold up though . . . Brennen might be her boyfriend . . . If it is then i wouldn't know what to do. I mean I'd have to be supportive, and I couldn't try and hurt their relationship . . .

"Who is this?" I ask, trying not to sound rude.

"Oh, this is my old best friend Teagan. We've known each other forever." Brennen replied with a smile.

Teagan . . . even better than Willow.

"W-well it's nice to meet you Teagan." I greeted. Stupid stutter. Not right now.

"Same to you." Teagan greeted back, a small smile on her face.

"Oh right! Teagan, this is my other best friend, Colby." Brennen said.

"Nice name."

"Thanks. Same to you." I smiled.

Gosh her voice is so perfect.

Once I sat down I noticed that her eyes were a greenish color like Brennen's. Long, straight brown hair. Perfect height.

She was just perfect in all ways.

Brennen started a conversation, and I just sat there petting Kobe while taking small peeks at her. Her smile was awesome.

"Hey, how about we all go to Tender Greens for lunch?" I suggest after a while. Both of their eyes lit up at my words. Guess she loves that place.

"Yes!" They both yelled in unison. She giggled at how they said it at the same time.

It was so adorable.

We all got into Brennen's truck, and I let Teagan sit in the front. She thanked me and said that I would get it on the way back.

At Tender Greens we sat at a table with Teagan across from me and Brennen next to her. We talked about random stuff, then out of nowhere, Brennen asked Teagan if she has a boyfriend.

"I do, but I plan on breaking up with him because he doesn't really make time with me. Sometimes I think he's cheating on me with someone else." She replied looking down. There was something else in her eyes that I couldn't quite point out.

Brennen and I looked at eachother then back at her. "Maybe it's a good thing that you are breaking up with him. You never want to have that feeling." I replied. She smiled at nodded her head slightly.

Once our food came, we ate and still talked about things.

"What about you two, any girlfriends?" She questioned us.

"Nope." We said at the same time.

"How, or why I should say, do you not have one?"

"I only need my daddy Colby Brock right here." Brennen smiled then winked at me. I winked back to earn a laugh from Teagan.

"What about you Colby?"

"I don't have one because I like this other girl and she still has a boyfriend. So I'm going to wait till they part so I can make my move." I replied with a smile at the end.

"You never told me you had a crush." Brennen said with a curious look.

"It might still be a while till she's single though."

"Dont worry, I'm sure she'll get her senses right and make the right choice." Teagan comforted, putting her hand on mine. I blushed slightly and I think Brennen took notice. He smiled and payed for the lunch.

We got back to Brennen's house, and Teagan had to leave. She gave Brennen a hug then gave me one. I held on a little longer though. Don't judge. It was comforting.

Once she left Brennen looked at me and smiled. "What?" I asked, afraid he'd say what I think.

"You like Teagannn!" He teased. I blushed again and Brennen laughed.

"I do not."

Brennen looked at me with a 'don't lie to me' look. "Ok fine, yes I do. But don't tell her."

Brennen squealed like a little girl got a bike for Christmas. "I knew it! And dont worry, I won't tell her... yet." He laughed.

"Brennen please. This is the only girl that I actually had feelings for in a long time. It was kind of like love at first sight . . . " He looked at me with a relatable look and promised me he wouldn't say anything.

I then went home to take a shower after hanging out for a while longer.
