I decided to skip Valentine's Day in this simply because I want to get to the good parts. Basically a rundown version of what they did was going on a date and all that relationship stuff. Colby gave her flowers and everyone else did their own thing.

One month later

Teagan's Pov

It has been 5 months exactly since Colby and I got together. Obviously it has been great. We got together on October 26th, 2018.

It has also been one month since the incident with him happened. I have nightmares a lot of the time, but Colby is there to help me with them.

But let's get to the happy things.

My birthday is next month and I'm excited. Colby said that he already has my present in mind, but he can't get it till the actual day. Kinda nervous kinda not.

Well anyways, I'm laying on Colby's bed with my head on his chest. We are on our phones. I'm on Instagram while Colby is texting a friend. Probably Sam or Brennen.

We have been sitting like this for a while now, just enjoying each other's presence. Moments like these are great moments. We also have been having these more often now.

After putting my phone down, I looked down to the ring on my finger and started twirling it. I'm honestly still shocked that Colby basically proposed.

Colby noticed me not on my phone anymore and put his down. He put both of his arms around me and gave me a big hug. Then he looked at the ring that's being twirled. He had a look of concern on his face.

"Do you regret saying yes to my promise?" He asked me worried. I didn't regret anything about last month. It was a perfect night with a perfect boyfriend.

"No. I don't regret anything." Colby visibly relaxed after my response. He kissed my forehead and started to get up from the bed. "No, my pillow. Come back." I whined. He only chuckled and finished getting off the bed.

I whined again and pushed my face into the actual pillow. Colby laughed at me. Then everything went quiet.

Finally, I can sleep again.

Suddenly, I'm getting pulled off the bed.

Guess not.

I let out a strangled cry as I fell into the floor. The only other thing that can be heard is Colby's booming laughter.

I pull the blankets off my head and start pouting. "That wasn't funny."

"Y-you should've s-seen your face. That was priceless." He laughed. A small smile made its way onto my face. He has an adorable laugh. The smile immediately vanished because I realized that Colby pulled me off from the best thing in the world.

"Since you pulled me off the luxury that we call a bed, you now have to pick me up." I declared to Colby.

After his laughing fit, he listened to my request and picked me up. "I'm sorry baby, but you had to get up. It's 2 in the afternoon. We are going to hang out with Brennen." I imme-diately perked up when I heard Brennen's name. It has been a while since we hung out.

I jumped off the bed and went to Colby's closet. I picked up some black ripped jeans and one of Colby's take chances sweatshirts. After that, I went into the bathroom to shower. After my shower, I changed and brushed my teeth.

Then I went back into Colby's room just as he was putting on a shirt. "Ready?" He asked. I nodded my head while grabbing my phone.

When we left the room, Sam stopped us before we could go down the stairs. "Hey, do you guys mind if I film in your room? It's not a prank, I just need it to record a small bit." Me and Colby were confused but we let him none the less.

"Wonder what that was about." I said to Colby once we made it to his car. Colby shrugged his shoulders and started the car. Then we left the driveway and went to Brennen's.

Once we made it to Brennen's, we just walked into the door. No knocking or ringing the door bell. He should really start locking his door.

Reading my mind, Colby said that exact thing. "Yo man, you should really start locking your doors." I laughed and he looked at me quizz-ically. I only shook my head at home with a smile.

Brennen replied back to Colby once we made it into the living room. "I always forget to lock my doors and I don't want to put a sign up basically saying that I forget to lock them." Brennen made a point, but he should still lock his doors.

Colby and I waved him off and sat on the couch.

Brennen, Colby, and I watched TV and played some video games for a couple of hours when we started to get bored.

"Can we go somewhere please." I begged while face first on the couch. I heard a chuckle but payed no mind to it. There was a few movements but once again, I payed no mind to it.

All of a sudden, I was being lifted off the couch. Not again. I screamed as I was thrown on a shoulder. There was even more laughter as I was dangling upside down from a shoulder. It was Colby's, I could tell that much.

Then he started walking. I heard the front door open with more foot steps before it closed. I was soon pushed into a car. More like truck. Brennen's truck to be precise.

Brennen soon got into the car after Colby sat in the front seat. I contem-plated asking where we were going but decided against it.

Music was lightly playing in the back-ground. It was Better Now by Post Malone. Colby turned it up and started nodding his head to the beat. I chuckled softly and turned to look out the window.

I checked my phone to look at the time and it read 5:27. We have been driving for about 5 minutes. The boys still haven't said anything and it was making me anxious.

Finally, I decided to break the silence. "Where are we going?" Brennen looked at me through the rear view mirror while Colby turned around to look at me.

"We are going to the carnival that's in town. Today is the last day it's here." Replied Colby with a smile.

I could feel my smile growing bigger. Brennen and Colby laughed a little and turned to look out of the front window again. I did the same, but looking to my right out of the window.

Few minutes later, we made it to the carnival. Let me tell you, it was packed. There were cars everywhere and it took us a good 10 minutes to find a parking spot. Finally we found one and got out of the car.

We spent the rest of the day there. Going on the rides, playing some games, and most importantly, eating food.

Colby won me a small teddy bear while I won him an owl. Brennen won himself a lizard looking animal thingy. We left at around 11 when the carnival manager kicked us out.

All in all it was perfect. My best friend and boyfriend.

I wouldn't have asked for anything more.

Another perfect day.
