After my shower I decided to go and play some Fortnite because why not. After a couple of games and raging fits I got a text from an anonymous number.

Anonymous-  hey

Me- who is this

Teagan- sorry, I forgot. It's Teagan.

My heart fluttered at the text.

Me- it's ok, and not to be rude, but how did you get my number?

Teagan- Brennen gave it to me😊

Of course Brennen would.

Me- Oh, well that's good that we can keep in contact now

Teagan- yeah it is

Teagan- also can I tell you something

Me- of course

Teagan- great, well, so im planning on breaking up with my boyfriend when he gets back from work in like 10min, but I dont really know how to do it, and im scared that he will get really mad at me

Me- well, he cant really get mad at you, it's your choice and you can make whatever one you want. And while your actually doing it, tell him why and that it's not working out, he should understand

Teagan- thanks Colby, that really made me feel less anxious

Me- anytime

After that conversation I decided to go to Brennen's to hang out again. I texted him and he said that he needed to talk to me anyway. Hope I wasn't in trouble.

Once I got there, I walked into the living room and he was sat there watching tv.

I sat next to him and saw what he was watching. "Why'd you need to talk to me." I asked. "Since Teagan is breaking up with her boyfriend she is going to need some help making sure her soon-to-be-ex doesn't come after her." He said sadly.

"What do you mean 'come after her'." I asked. "Her soon-to-be-ex, Tyler, was always a controlling boyfriend and never really let her talk with other guys. Girls too. So once she does it, we need to keep her safe, and I know you will do it." He said quite scared. "Of course I will help." And just as I said that, Teagan came running in and locked the door. She had a hand mark bruise on her thigh, and a red hand  mark on her face.

"I did it, and he was not happy." She came over to us and cried. I looked out the door window and saw a guy walking over to the door. I was bigger than him, muscle wise and height wise, so I wasnt scared. I looked back at Brennen and pointed to his room, and to take Teagan with him. He did so and then I opened the door. "WHERE IS SHE!" He yelled at my face. "I dont know who you're talking about, but if I were you, I would leave right now before something bad happens." I replied somewhat calmly.

"Dont worry babe! We will get to finish what we started and you're going to enjoy it!" He yelled knowing she was here. Once he left I told Brennen and Teagan that it was safe out. Teagan was stilling crying in Brennen's arms and came over to me to give me a hug. "Thank you Colby. Without your help I would be, I-I w-would be r-rap-" I cut her off.

"Dont worry, me and Brennen will make sure that never happens." I smiled at her and she gave me a little kiss on the cheek. After all the drama happened we decided to go over to my house because it was a little safer. She was happy, and that made me happy.
