After the rather embarrassing affair the two had went through. The rest of the game died down pretty fast. After Kyle punched Nik into a wall for asking him if they were they'd finally arrived at 'the damned place' for the millionth time, driven on by the drunken stupor he was shrouded underneath. Everyone had became pretty quiet, with the life of the party twitching as he leaned against the same wall; attempting to make his fingers come back to their original positions. Kyle had only massaged his wrist in annoyance, and stood up.

"I'm beat, have fun you guys." He'd said with the most sincerity he could manage. Which was all but zero. Besides that the night launched into action, or. Perhaps the absence of it.

The only major thing is that the two got to share a bed together, Mark and Sheph that is. Nik teased about all the stuff they'd do as he limped into a different room. Albeit he was just voicing Shephs hopes but.... He would, nor could ever say that out loud. Plus, 'we joked about that exact subject when we first hung out idiot'. Sheph thought to himself. All these thoughts swirled in his head with a dull roar as the man himself lay next to him. Their backs touching.

Mark talked of how the role as  a hero utterly stripped of him of his previous life with all of the potential he'd saved for years, not to mention the money, and sacrifices he had made for nothing. To Sheph it seemed tragic, but Mark only answered with: "Sheph I am happy the way I am now," and then he made sure to add, "And I would not have of met you." Ugh! That cheeky little charmer had no idea what he was doing to Sheph. Unable to sleep he sighed quietly.

"What is bothering you Sheph?" Mark asked sleepily. Sheph tensed in surprise, Quietly he replied with conjured assurance.
"Nothing Mark."
"I can feel the bothered energy radiating off of you." Mark replied pointedly, "so tell me what is the trouble for?" He dug. Sheph was silent for a moment.

"You can do that?"
"No." Mark chuckled quietly, even if all the others had found their way to some unseen part of the ship they both were trying to keep up the sleepy feeling albeit the longer they conversed the clearer it became that they were going to be awake for a long while. "So?'' Mark continued to pry. Sheph decided to sigh again, and think of a quick lie.
"I'm just... sad that..
"yeah?"
"That... I'll have to wait till tomorrow to see the other parts of the ship." He decided. Mark turned towards him, and Sheph followed suit to see his confused expression.

"Did, you want me to show you?" Mark asked slowly. The idea was appealing but,
"I wouldn't make you get up right now." He assured. Marks eyebrow raised.
"You want me to show you around now?" He asked while he rubbed his eyes, Sheph huffed.
"No I didn't mean right now-" But it was too late. Mark stood up on wavering legs before letting out a huge yawn that reflected the dim light across his bright white teeth. With an exited, but also embarrassed expression Sheph also stood, and somehow it only occurred to him that Mark was only in what looked like boxers. Marks tired eyes followed his gaze, and widened when he realized Sheph's surprise
"Sorry I was gonna ask if you wanted me to wear more." Mark quickly apologized as his face flushed along with Sheph's, but he only shook his head with a grin.

"The tour?" He asked. Mark regained his smile and agreed,
"Follow me monsieur" He joked, and with a tug on Shephs arm he was being pulled through the back wall.
