Nostalgia flooded in. A barrage on all of his senses. Up on the high ceiling the colored lights did their job excellently; cascading the beams around the tall room, and onto the dancing bodies below them. Kyle looked up at them for a moment before focusing on the mass before him. The primarily dark purple lit room had a fairly lit diner in the back to the left, and before that there was a hallway to the night-rooms. But here the main attraction was the dancefloor, and resting far in the back was the source of some of his fondest memories: the stage.
He was transfixed for a long while, and jerked back into reality as a large hand rested on his shoulder.
"We got new lights since you were here last." Phin commented warmly. Kyle looked at the hand for a moment, and let it lead him away from the entrance.
"They're nice." He replied as he was led to a stool before the diner, which now had a more bar-like feeling to it. Phin sat rather close to him, but Kyle payed no mind to it.
At that moment his phone buzzed in his pocket and without looking he felt Nik entering with Autzen no where in sight. Kyle sighed and pulled out his phone. What surprised him was a text from Mark.

M: It's Mark, where are you guys currently? Kyle chuckled at how his formal way of talking bled into his texting.
in town with others
He waited for a moment without reply, so he shoved his phone back into his pocket with unease.
"Is everything okay?" Phin leaned in curiously. Kyle smiled quickly and nodded hoping it would satisfy him enough to move back some. It didn't, and Kyle could feel a blush creeping up his face as he held eye contact with the puma. a tension grew and the air suddenly seemed to heat up until-
"So what'll it be hun?" Came an outside voice that snapped Kyle out of his haze once he realized he was being addressed by a lady behind the bar. He blinked a couple times and let out the breath he'd apparently been holding.
"Oh." He said simply. He blushed hard at how awkwardly he was acting but luckily she didn't seem to notice. Phin was still watching and muttered something Kyle couldn't hear. She seemed satisfied, and focused on the person who'd just sat down on the other side of Kyle. Nik had already said what he wanted before the lady had even asked, but she smiled anyways and turned to fix whatever he had asked for.
"You should stay in your room just for old time's sake." Phin suggested. Kyle knew he was trying to be casual but he couldn't help call it out.
"I remember us sharing a room though," He started. causing Phin to laugh nervously.
"Oh yeah you're right-"
"And a bed and blankets,"
"Alright alright." He said quickly causing them both to laugh. Even if had been for different reasons. The nostalgia had never stopped flooding into him since he entered and he couldn't help but be put into a playful mood by it. He wasn't the only one though; as Phin had began to gaze at Kyle again with the same soft look he'd been wearing before.
"You should sing something."
Kyle's eyes widened at the request as a blush overcame him. He quickly scoffed and looked in the other direction to make sure Nik hadn't heard however it was clear he was being entertained with the shots of whatever he was gulping down.
"I'll play bass." Phin continued. "It'll be just like old times." Kyle continued to look away from the pleading look Phin was giving him.
"Phin that was years ago.."
"Humor me."
