Jealous, really?

Chapter 12
Jughead POV:

I woke up Tuesday morning and cautiously made my way to the kitchen, luckily she wasn't there. I make myself breakfast and my dad walks out of his room and joins me in the kitchen.

Fp: have you seen Betty?
Jughead: I don't think she's up yet. That weird for Betty, she's usually always up before us. Dad gets up and opens her door and walks back to the kitchen.
Fp: Shes not there he says with a hint of worry in his voice.
Jughead: wh-what? Dad gets out his phone and calls her. They finish up there conversation and he hangs up.
Jughead: is she ok?
Fp: she's Fine, she's at the hospital with Sweet Pea.
Jughead: is she ok? I say in a louder tone.
Fp: yeah she's fine. Something happened to Sweet Pea's mum. She's just there for support. I nod my head and grab my stuff for school.

Why does Betty have to help him? Betty shouldn't hang around him so much. I can't be jealous, she doesn't deserve this.

I walk to school and I don't see Betty or Sweet Pea anywhere. All the Serpents give me angry looks, they must know about Betty and I breaking up.

I head to my class and sit at the front like I always do. The day goes by slow and I don't really have any friends since all my friends were Betty's friends and I don't think they really like me right now.

The day ends and neither Sweet Pea or Betty were at school. I guess it's safe to say she and him were together, who knows, they might even be dating. They always spend time together and they have always been close.

I arrive home and see that Betty still isn't there. I do some homework and then at around 8:00 I move into the lounge and watch some tv with dad. About half an hour later the door opens revealing a blonde with messy hair, although she still looked cute. I need to stop these thoughts.

She explains a little about what happens and then eats dinner. Once she's done she heads to bed and doesn't come out again.

It's now the next morning and I wake up to the smell of pancakes. I realize I can't avoid her forever so I just make my way to the lounge and pack up my stuff. It's now 7am and there's a knock on the door. Betty goes to open it and of course, It's Sweet Pea. She picks up her bag and walks out with him.

I wish I was able to bring her to school, hold her hand, be able to say I love her. I was selfish, I am selfish. I am a horrible person.

I was brought back to attention by my dad calling my name.

Fp: JUGHEAD! He yells for the final time.
Jughead: Yeah?
Fp: you are terrible at hiding your feelings. It's obvious your jealous of Sweet Pea.
Jughead: no I'm not. I say as I walk out the door making sure I don't give a chance for my dad to talk. I walk to school and walk past the student lounge where I see Betty and Sweet Pea sitting next to each other and laughing.

The bell goes and I have Sport with both Sweet Pea and Betty, Great. I sigh. I make my way to outside the gym and the teacher once again tells us to do laps. Sweet Pea and Betty are in the front and are laughing while running. The lesson continued with them always being together and always laughing at each other.

The lesson finally ended and I bolted out of class. I went past the student lounge and saw Betty and Sweet Pea alone in there, talking about something.

Betty POV:

Me and Sweet Pea walk out from the gym and walk to the student lounge, when we arrive we're the only ones in there.

Betty: how's your mum? I ask putting a hand on his lap.
Sweet Pea: she's been doing good so far.

Then the rest of our friends walk in.
