Sweet Pea POV:

Betty went outside to say goodbye to the guy she was talking to. They looked close. She had been outside for about 5 minuets and I hear a gunshot. I ran outside and saw her standing there.

Sweet Pea: Betty. Are you ok? I asked worriedly. She turns around and has her hand clenching her stomach. Her shirt was covered in blood. I run up to her and she collapsed in my arms.
Betty: she shot me. She says, struggling to breathe.
Sweet Pea: who? I ask her. I was on the verge of tears. I can't watch Betty like this. I need to be strong for her. How could someone hurt her?
Betty: Alice. She says and passed out in my arms. A single tear slides down my face.

I pick up her light, lifeless looking body and carry her into the bar. As soon as i opened the door everyone's eyes were on me and Betty.

Sweet Pea: she was shot, by Alice. I say. Everyone's face drop even further then why already once were. I could see people with tears in there eyes.

Tall Boy came up to me and told me to take his truck and take her to the hospital, he would tell the Serpents to meet us there. I did as he said and sped down the high way. I was not going to let her die. I'm not going to lose a sister. I'm not letting anything happen to her. She means to much to me. I need her... I need her now.

Fp POV:

It was a normal day for me. I spent most of my day at the Wyrm. It was nearing 4pm so i decided to head home for the day. Jughead soon arrived and was acting the same as usual, but he wasn't with Betty. She must be at the Wyrm.

I begin making dinner for the two of us and we both eat together making light conversation. We both finished up and he offered to wash the dishes. I sit in the lounge and watch some tv. He soon finishes and joins me in the lounge, I'm on my computer and he's working on his. We had been on our computers for about 2 hours until I get a phone call from Tall Boy.

( Tall Boy and Fp on the phone )

Fp: hey Tall- he cut me off.
Tall Boy: it's about Betty. She's been shot. I didn't even know what to say.
Fp: when and who? I say raising my voice, gaining attention from Jughead.
Tall Boy: a couple minutes ago, Alice shot her. Go to the hospital now. Sweet Pea is with her. He hangs up.

Jughead knew something was going on and I didn't know if he was going to be able to handle the news. I mean I barely can. She is a daughter to me. I can't even bare thinking about her being hurt.

Jughead: what's wrong? He asked me worriedly. I have to tell him.
Fp: it's Betty I say. His worry only deepened.
Jughead: is she ok? He asked. He was going pale.
Fp: she was shot. We have to go. As soon as i said she had been shot he looked like he was going to pass out.

We both got up, I grabbed my keys and we raced to my car and down to the hospital. I saw Sweet Pea, he looked like a mess. I ran up to the nurses at the front desk and started barking at them for answers, I got nothing out of them. I don't even think they knew if she would be ok. She has to be ok.

Sweet Pea POV:

I arrived at the hospital and as soon as the nurses saw me carrying Betty they immediately had me put her on a bed and they rushed her out.

I was panicking and couldn't calm down. If only Betty was here to tell me what to do. She somehow always knows what to do. I sat down and called Lucas. Her North Side friends would need to know about this.

( Lucas and Sweet Pea on the phone )

Lucas: Hey Sweet Pea, what up? He asked casually.
Sweet Pea: It's Betty. She's been shot. Can you call the the others and tell them to come to the hospital? I say shakily.
Lucas: of course, we'll be there soon. He hangs up.

( end of call )

I had been sitting there for half an hour with my head resting on my hands. I can't think. I don't want to. I can't bring myself to the possible thought that she might not make it. She's strong. She won't let Alice win this battle.

I saw two people run into my direction. Jughead and Fp. I'm in no mood to fight with Jughead. Jughead took a seat next to me while Fp was barking questions at the nurses, who were still telling us nothing. Fp calms down and takes a seat next to me.

Fp: what happened? he asked me.
Sweet Pea: she went outside to say goodbye to this guy and then I heard a gunshot and went outside. She told me Alice shot her. He nods his head.

Talking about it hurts, I can't deal with the pain. We all remain quiet until all the North Siders and Toni and Fangs arrive and engulfed me in a hug. They all know how close me and Betty are, they know how we consider each other family, brother and sister. They all tried calming me down but it wasn't working, I needed Betty, we needed Betty.

Tyler soon came and was also trying to calm me down. He knew it wouldn't work, he knew I needed Betty too. I could see he was breaking as well. This waiting room was making me feel sick, I needed fresh air.

Sweet Pea: I need air. I say to Tyler.
Tyler: me too. We both walk outside and enjoy the sound of peace, there was no people talking, no beeping machines, nothing.

Veronica POV:

I was in the waiting room crying into Archie's chest. He was lightly crying as well. I looked up and saw Sweet Pea and some guy walk out. I stand up and walk to where Toni and Fangs were, I could tell they both had been crying too.

Veronica: who was the guy with Sweet Pea? I ask them.
Fangs: he's Tyler. I nod my head realising he was also like a brother to Betty.

Veronica: do you think Sweet Pea will be ok? I ask in a whisper.
Fangs: he needs Betty. Toni motions for me to sit. I do as she wants.
Toni: before Betty became a Serpent Sweet Pea was this mad and angry guy. When Betty came she softened him and he toughened her up. They're basically the same person. They need each other to cope. The only thing that got him through Caleb's death was Betty. Although Betty was broken herself she stayed strong for him. His death destroyed them both, they both had to rely on each other and Tyler of course, but they're always there for each other, no matter what. They are so close that it tears him apart to see her like this. I've never seen him more upset... not even after Caleb. They have the strongest friendship I've ever seen. She says letting another tear slide down her already tear stained cheek. I hug her.

Sweet Pea and Tyler walk back in and take a seat. He looks a little more calmer. He still looks like a mess though. All we can do right now is play the waiting game. A game of torture.

Jughead POV:

I'm a mess, my dads a mess, Sweet Peas a mess, we're all a mess. I hate that the last time me and Betty spoke it was during an argument. I can't lose her. She is a beautiful and stunning person who deserves to live. I need her. Seeing the way Sweet Pea is shows to me how wrong I am, how wrong I always was. Maybe my dad was right about them having a brother and sister type of relationship. I miss her. She needs to get through this, we all need her. I've only known her for the shortest amount of the time but she has made me the happiest anyone has ever before. I love her, so much.

All we can do is now wait. Wait for a miracle.
