Chapter 36

Betty POV:

I woke up at about 5am this morning. It's Thursday and at the end of the day I'll be getting my Serpents jacket and gun back. I can't wait, not to mention these past weeks my gun would've been really handy. I slowly get up as I'm still in a little pain. I change into a top and pants.

There's one thing I'm worried about; Jughead. How will i tell him about kissing Malachi? I would have to tell him some time today, before we arrive at school, knowing Malachi he definitely isn't afraid to mess up my relationship with Jughead.

I walk into the kitchen and take a seat, no one would be up for at least another hour. I scroll through my phone for about 50 minuets until Fp wakes up and joins me in the kitchen. He makes us both something to eat and places the food in front of us. I smile at him and began to eat.

Fp: are you sure you're up for today? He asked protectively.
Betty: I'll be fine. I say with a reassuring smile. He smiles back, although I could see he was still a little bit worried about me

Fp: you excited for today? He says with a smile and changing the subject.
Betty: yes! I can't wait. I say excitedly and he laughs at me.

We both continued to talk and eat our breakfast until Jughead woke up. He joined us and we ate breakfast together.

By the time we were all done it was time for me and Jughead to go to school. We say goodbye to Fp and begin our walk to school. The whole time I was trying to build up the courage to tell Jughead. I didn't want to lose him. I couldn't lose him. I love him to much. I was thinking to much about what I was going to say to him I didn't notice him trying to get my attention.

Jughead: Betts... Betty? He asked
Betty: uh, yeah? I ask him.
Jughead: you ok? You've been really quiet. He says worriedly.
Betty: I..uh need to tell you something. It's about yesterday. He nods his head.
Betty: well me and Sweet Pea were obviously locked up and then my parents said they had had enough of Malachi so they locked him up with us. But he had the key. He said the only way he would give us the key is if... if I kissed him. And um- I say and he cuts me off.

Jughead: baby, I'm not mad at you. You had to. He says and pulls me into a hug.
Betty: are you sure you're ok? I ask him nervously.
Jughead: Of course. I love you he says kissing my head.
Betty: I love you too Jug. I say pulling out of the hug so I could kiss his lips. His lips were soft... perfect. His lips made me feel safe again.

We continue to walk to school with his arm wrapped around my shoulder and my head leaning against his. We soon arrive at school and we walk into the student lounge. As soon as we walk in I'm attacked with hugs from everyone. I'm not sure how much they know but right now it's kinda hurts.

Betty: guys, It hurts. I say with a chuckle. They all immediately detach themselves from me and make me take a seat.

Betty: how much do you know? I ask them.
Lucas: everything. He says with a sympathetic smile.
Betty: who told you? I ask. I then see Toni and Fangs awkwardly look away.
Betty: let me guess, Toni and Fangs? I say. Everyone laughs.
Toni: sorry, but they were asking questions. She's says looking down.
Betty: it's fine. I say with a chuckle.

The next 30 minuets were spent with me explaining to them all everything that happened whilst being kidnaped, I told them everything except about kissing Malachi, that's something they don't need to know about.

The bell soon goes and I have the worst class possible right now, media with Malachi. I hope he just ignores my complete existence. But knowing him, today will be worse then usual.
