I'll lay on my spread,
And attempt to go to bed.Fade into the night,
Where I'll always wake in a fright.Stay asleep, I must.
Try to resume my dreams, but they fall into rust.Breaking apart and falling in the chasm,
Quickly decomposing from atoms.I'll cry while watching them fall,
And view the sunrise turn to nightfall.I see the night as new,
Then beside the cliff I see you.Trying to sit beside,
But I seem to slip inside.I'll fall towards oblivion,
And I see you made it also to Elysium. The night didn't smile on me,
Just that it agreed to disagree.
