Evil Plans

At the lab, the six new numbers were preparing themselves for what they were planning to do. Quinn and Delilah were standing next to each other, looking at a wall on a lift. They both knew what was on this wall a few months ago. But now that they were created, they were going to fix what had happened.

"Those damn kids, ruining everything that the doctors wanted to do. It was the doctors' mistakes because they had no idea how to control it. But we do," Quinn said, still staring at the wall.

Delilah looked over at her. "We will open it again. Hawkins will have no idea what's coming to them," she said.

Quinn smirked and laughed. "Not just Hawkins," she said, looking over at her colleague. "The whole world won't know what's coming to them. Not even those kids who ruined it in the first place," she added in, sounding determined about their plan. Delilah smirked as well and looked back at the wall, where they would open the gate again. Nothing was going to stop them from doing what they planned to do since they were created.

Delilah pulled the lever to lift them back up to the surface, where the others were. Ezra and Shawn were building devices to help them with their plan. They were both given scientific DNA, so they were assigned with the task of making the tools and devices. Evelyn was making an outfit for her mission and Grayson was helping her out. It was her job to go undercover in the town to make sure that no one knew what was happening. Especially with the two kids that closed the gate in the first place.

"Evelyn. You ready yet?" Quinn asked as she came up to her.

Evelyn nodded at her boss. "Yes ma'am. I just need to put these clothes on," she said as she picked up the outfit and went into a different room to change.

Grayson turned over to Quinn. "Don't worry. I'll watch over her to make sure she doesn't mess up," he said. Quinn nodded and went over to Ezra and Shawn to see how they were doing.

A few minutes later, out came Evelyn. She was wearing a Hawaiian shirt with a white shirt underneath with blue jean shorts. The girl was nervous for this mission, due to the fact that she was going to be watching their worst enemy, who could ruin everything if they found out who she was with. But she had to do it, it was very necessary.

"You'll do fine, okay Eve? Just pretend that you don't have powers and that you are just a new girl looking for friends. Befriend those kids and make sure you report in every night to us. Should be simple. And if they are onto you, then make sure you knock them unconscious. Leave the ones who aren't the two kids who closed the gate. We'll deal with them," Grayson informed her, giving her a small walkie talkie. 

Evelyn nodded, taking a deep breath and putting a determined look on her face. "Thanks Gray. I'll be fine, Alright?" She said. Grayson nodded as the girl smiled and walked away.

Once she was gone, the boy snuck out after her. It was his assignment to make sure that Evelyn does her job, and if she didn't succeed, then he would have to take over. Another part of Grayson's orders was to kill her if she dared to try and betray them. That was something that he didn't want to do because he didn't want to kill his new best friend. 

Evelyn was worried about what would happen on her spy mission, but she hoped that everything would turn out okay.

The party was hanging out in a field that very same day. Lucas, Dustin, Will, and Max were playing games while Mike and El were walking together, holding hands. The other four teased the couple secretly, a couple of which Mike heard and rolled his eyes at. El just chuckled at their jokes about them, not understanding it.

As they were walking, El started to look down at the ground. Mike noticed and looked over at her in concern. "You okay, El? What's wrong?" He asked her.

"I had a nightmare last night..." she said in a small voice. "You were killed by... six people. Some I couldn't see their face... they had the demogorgon and the demodogs. Then there was the Mind Flayer... I'm scared Mike... I don't want you to die..." she said, starting to tear up at the thought of this horrifying nightmare.

Mike stopped in his tracks and took El's other hand and squeezed both hands. "Nothing is going to happen, okay? We're safe and the gate is closed. We were able to close it and the Upside Down can't get to us anymore. But if something does happen, then we'll be ready. We're always ready for them," he said in a reassuring voice.

El smiled at him and pulled him into a huge hug. The two hugged for a few minutes before pulling away to kiss. It was a pretty long kiss and they both smiled into it, happy to be together again and knowing that nothing will split them apart again. The two pulled away after a few minutes and laughed in joy of being together. Mike leaned over and kissed her forehead, which made them both blush.

"HEY LOVEBIRDS!" Dustin called out at them. "GET A ROOM!" That outburst made Mike turn a deeper red and El to start laughing again. Max, Lucas, and Will laughed at them too and Dustin laughed the hardest. Even Mike started to laugh a bit, even though he was very embarrassed at what his friend said.

Suddenly, there was a yelp from a few feet away. The six kids looked around and ran towards where the noise came from. Right in the bushes from a few feet away, there was a girl lying on the ground with her foot stuck in a branch. She was crying out for help as she couldn't get it off of her. Dustin and Max knelt down and started to get the branch off of her. Once she was free, Max held out her hand, which the girl took to be able to stand up.

"You okay? What happened?" Max asked, sounding concerned for the girl that she had never seen before. She looked to be their age, but she had never seen her in school before.

"I'm fine, thanks. I just got caught in that branch there and I couldn't get myself out. But thank you for helping me," the girl said, brushing some of the dirt off her clothes. Then she looked at all six of the kids. "I'm Evelyn. I'm here visiting Hawkins. Family relatives are here and I'm visiting them by myself."

The other kids introduced themselves and they invited Evelyn to hang out with them, which she agreed to. El was the only one suspicious of her, however, due to the fact that she noticed a 015 tattoo on her left arm. She definitely wasn't here to visit family.

 Evelyn looked over at El and saw her glaring at her. That was when she realized that this was the group of kids that closed the gate, due to El's suspicious look. They were the ones who closed the gate and El was definitely a main one. But who was the other kid who helped her close the gate?

The kids continued to hang out, but El and Evelyn continued to be wary of each other.
