Chapter 13 : He has a girlfriend?

"I don't know he's ignoring me from past three days can you believe it THREE DAYS" I said on the phone

"Oh really three days, what about getting ignored for your whole life, beat this" Nishi said from the opposite side

"It's not a competition Nishi" I sighed

"He's not ignoring you pari its.. it's just him, actually I was shocked when you told me that he is friendly with you"

"But..."

"No but I am busy right now I have to go with dad will talk to you latter" he said ending the call

"But listen to me...."

This idiot I know he's making excuses, he and busy are opposite words. And I don't know why Mr. Rude is ignoring me, yes I started to call him Mr. Rude again seeing his behaviour from past three days. Whenever I tried to talk to him he avoided me by giving excuses, both the brothers are same. I went out in the lobby at the same time Sid came back from his work

"Hi" I greeted him smiling, he looked at me, gave a forceful smile and turned towards his flat. Enough!

"Mr. Sidharth" I shouted and walked towards him

"Can I ask you why are you behaving like this" I don't know what got into me and I asked that to him, maybe I was not in my correct senses

"What do you mean?" he frowned

"What I mean is that why are you avoiding me?" I said raising my voice a little

"Why would I avoid you and on second thought it's not a big deal even if I do because we don't really know each other or are friends" he said

I was hurt when he said that but it makes sense, we are not friend or anything, I felt embarrassed for behaving like that but also I was angry at him for the words that he spoke right now

"Sorry, I wasted your time" I said and left from there without looking back

You are so stupid pari, you made fun of yourself in front of him, 'He's just a rude arrogant and self-centred person who doesn't think about anyone else not even his parents, I am never going to talk to him again' I decided, Nishi and Abhi were right my plan was idiotic what was I thinking when I planned these all. I am just going to focus on my exhibition now and do my best.

'late late late late' uhh why can't I wake up early in the morning, I quickly took a shower and got ready, Yash uncle is again going to scold me. I called Abhi to pick me up as I was late

"Hello Abhi where are you?"

"Just parking my bike"

"Okay come here and pick me up I am late"

"What will I get in return" he asked

" It's not the time Abhi I am already late" I shouted

"Okay okay cool down I am coming"

I kept my phone in purse and locked the door, I heard a sweet voice from the opposite side I turned my head to see a beautiful girl talking to si.. Mr Rude, 'he has a girlfriend!' I felt something sharp piercing my heart 'what the hell pari are you seriously getting jealous' she was too pretty and was talking to him with a smile plastered on her lips, though I wasn't able to hear what they were talking but I can say that she has a sweet voice, I pretended to lock the door and hear what they are talking about
'seriously pari, you are getting late leave now for god's sake' yes you are right brain I should leave, I walked to the elevator without looking at them

"Pari you call me to pick you and and then arrive late, what were you so busy in" he asked taunting me

"I was trying to evasdrop on someone's conversations" I said, to which he mumbled 'you are very weird'

"I know" I said sitting behind him

"You look lost pari is everything alright?" Abhi asked with concern while sitting on the chair next to me

"Yes, everything is alright?" It came out more like a question

"Pari you know you can share anything with me" he kept his hand on mine, I sighed and told him about yesterday evenings and today mornings incidents

"Do you like him?" He asked

"No!!" I replied immediately, he raised his eyebrows indicating that 'i am not taking this answer'

"Uhh... I.. I don't know, no actually I know, I hate him" I said crossing my arms in front of my chest

"It doesn't seems so" he smirked

"Really Abhi! here I am upset and you are teasing me" I said annoyed

"I am just telling the truth" he shrugged

"That's not the truth" I said with confidence

"Then you shouldn't be bothered about whatever he said or by the fact that he has a girlfriend 'according to you' " he spoke air quoting the last words

"Yes, I am not bothered, who cares about that arrogant rude person" he chuckled hearing this

"What's so funny?" I was getting angry now

"Okay okay chill, I am leaving I don't want to get beaten up by you, I am the only son to my parents" he said getting up "and yeah I forgot to tell you I will not be able to come here for few days" he added

"Why?"

"I am going to Hyderabad to convince Aayat's parents I hope everything goes...." Before he could complete I jumped on him

"Yay! I am so happy for you, finally my dumbo gathered the courage to do this" I screamed

"Hold your horses drama queen they have not agreed yet" he chuckled

"Oh common as I said earlier no-one can reject a boy like you, best of luck, and don't show me your face till you convince her parents" I said breaking the hug

"Yeah but I am nervous"

"I told you na they can't reject you" he smiled

"Chal I will drop you" he said

"Okay sir let me take my bag"

I bid him goodbye and wished him best of luck. Again the thoughts of Mr. Rude started surrounding my mind, was that girl his girlfriend or not I was so much engrossed in it that I didn't pay attention on how I am walking and....

BAMMM

I twisted my ankle and fell down on the floor "Ahhhhhhh" an involuntary loud scream escaped my mouth, I looked at my feet and found the culprit behind this, my new pair of sandals 'oh god why did I chose to wear this' I tried to get up but before I do that I was lifted up in air

'Miracle? Does God really cares about me this much' before I could think anything more stupid than this I heard a highly concerned voice

"Are you okay? where did you get hurt? Let me take you to the hospital" he said, oh and did I say sexy too, by he I mean Mr. Rude, wait did he said hospital?

"No no no it's okay, I am fine, no need to go to the hospital" I said

"No you are not fine, atleast not from the way you screamed, we need to call the doctor" he said while walking towards his flat 'good pari you deserve this for overreacting everytime'

"My house is that side" I said pointing my finger towards my flat, but he didn't stop and continued to walk towards his flat

"Put me down I want to go home" I said, still no effect, does he has some hearing problem?
