Chapter 28 : Let's go home

"Aren't you tired from all the shopping?" He asked

"I was but now I am fine, let's roll" I went to the kitchen to find something

"What about dal and rice?" I asked as he came in

"Whatever you like"

"Okay so I will take out the ingredients" I tried reaching to the top rack where dal was placed but you see being 5' 4" has a few limitations

I felt another body behind me and a strong woody fragrance hit me, he picked up the jar super easily and placed it on the table top while I was standing at the same spot tensed  

"I could have done that myself" I huffed, what else could I say that you smell so freaking amazing that I want to kiss you right now?

"Yeah offcourse you could but I thought I should help you"

"Okay now shutup and let me concentrate, I will mess up something because of you" I tried to divert my mind from all the r rated thoughts... Tried being the key point

"What should I do?" He asked now standing beside me

"Don't speak, that would be enough"

"Rude" he said pointing his finger to me

"Wow look who's saying" the one whose name you have saved as Mr.rude in your contact list my mind said

"Okay then I will just watch you cooking" he shrugged and sat on the table top, this jerk.. he knows that will make me nervous, he's purposefully doing this so I handed him something I hate the most in cooking and that's chopping

"Last time too you made me chop, someone is not that fond of chopping" he said cutting tomatoes perfectly, is there anything this guy is not good at?

"Shuh! didn't I tell you to not speak"

"It's usually the other way around you know" when he saw that I didn't understand what he's trying to say so he clarified " it's me who generally tells people to shut up"

"Then you should get used to stuffs like this, beleive me it will help you in future" I smirked

"Done" he kept the knife down

"What next?"

"Okay Mr. Speedy steam the rice then" he gave me a weird look but didn't say anything

I felt a pair of hands encircling my waist which made me stop abruptly, his head nudged in the crook of my neck and I closed my eyes involuntarily. His nose trailed up my neck, I could smell his amazing scent which acted as an intoxicant for my already messed up brain, I felt his lips on my neck and I lost all the remaining senses I had making me turn around and just kiss him.

We had dinner after our little makeout in the kitchen, he insisted on helping me in packing up but I denied as it was already too late and I knew he had to leave early for work plus I was just going for two - three days so I didn't need to actually pack anything.

Sid dropped by the next morning telling me to have a safe journey, call him if anything went wrong and to be back soon, which I found cute well you find everything he does cute.

I locked the door as I heard the horn of my cab. So let's go home then.....
