Hi all ❤️
I would've thanked you all for 10,000 reads, but in the time since the last chapter, we ended up breaking 11,000 reads by quite a bit! Thank you all so, so much! I remember almost 11 months ago when I got my first read, and was excited that someone found my story so quickly, I remember breaking a hundred in about a week, and a thousand in a month! It makes me so excited when I think of everyone who reads my story, and slightly nervous when I wonder what they think. Hopefully good things! We've come a long way, and I hope that my writing only gets better so that you can all enjoy the story for the next year and even longer! Now enjoy!

Can you believe that today is the first day, where I'm actually early for school? Ha, I know you can't. Referring to the watch that (Y/n) generously donated to me, I saw that it had just passed 8, which meant that I had little less than an hour before first period. Plenty of time! That's one day I won't be worrying about a late detention. I smiled warmly and waved at all the early birds I passed by as I skipped happily down the residential street. Spring was starting to finally look like spring, with the trees blooming flowers of all different kinds of colours. Thank someone in the clouds that I don't have hay fever. I adjusted my butterfly hair clip and took a quick glance at my watch once again before turning the corner into one of the many houses.
I rang the doorbell and waited eagerly for a response outside the grand, front entrance; it honestly gave the Monster Mansion some good competition.
"Good morning!" I exclaimed.
"Huh, Chara? W-What are you... doing at my house? At 8am?" Asked Angel, who looked anything but holy with her bed hair and pyjamas.
I laughed to ease the mood. "It's Monday! And I thought you'd like it if we went to school together?"
I peered inside the house as I waited for her to process everything - although I couldn't see what was so shocking. "Wow. You guys seem to be doing well for yourself, no?"
"Oh," Angel took the time to admire her passageway similarly, "yeah, I guess we are. Thank you. Uhh! Sorry, would you like to come inside?"
I nodded as I stepped forward cautiously, with my hands held behind my back, looking around the place. "It's very, angelic."
"...Aha! I see what you did there."
...
"I'm going to change." Said Angel quickly before rushing up the stairs to sort herself out.
I stood very still, moving only my eyes to analyse the place. I didn't mean to make a joke just then, this place looked like a museum. Kind of like a church. Ugh, I always hated church. I wouldn't be surprised if a nun came out of nowhere. Suddenly, I felt very weird. What am I doing in someone else's house at 8:15am? I've never done house visits, or meet ups before; it always was something I felt I missed out on as a child, and envied others for, among envying many other things. I tried shaking it off, and started humming a tune to myself.
"Oh, hello?"
I quickly turned, and smiled at the head peering from the kitchen. "Hi! You must be Angel's mother, right?"
"Y-Yes... Your eyes!?"
I had to laugh off the mood after accidentally and subconsciously rolling my eyes. "I bet you it's just the lighting. My name is Chara!" I stuck out a hand but was left waiting.
