"Charaaaa!" Beamed Angel, running up for a hug. "It's been so long!"

"It certainly has." I replied monotonously, raising a cold eyebrow at the familiar boy behind her.

"Y-You know, this makes me look really bad," said the taller, well-kept teen, "but Angel actually asked me out and I just said yes. Um, so..."

"Huh!?" Angel rapidly rotated her view to the both of us. "You two have met before!?"

"We have." I replied, again, monotonously. "I forgot his name, but I recall him asking me out a few weeks back."

"H-Hossam!?!?!?" Angel gasped in horror.

"I, uh- didn't know back then! She said she had a boyfriend, anyway, I met you later that day actually. S-Swear!"

I giggled at his helplessly, nervous smile. "Was Angel really the one to ask you out?"

"Well, I'm not surprised Hossam asked you out Chara," Angel tugged at me, "you're incredible!"

I couldn't help but blush at her remark and that annoyed me thoroughly. Her lack of social awareness really surprises me sometimes. God knows how she came to date someone.

The boy behind gave a cheeky smile. "Seems even you let your guard down sometimes!"

I scowled and he retracted back.

"From what Angel said about you..!" He laughed it off and then smiled at the girl beside him intently. "That's why I really began dating you though, Angie! You make me feel warm and you make me smile. I don't know why you're so honest, but being around you brings me a whole lot of joy!"

"B-Babyyy!!"

The two embraced tightly, and I threw up a little in my mouth. I can't believe they're so loving towards each other already, somehow him even more so than her! I sighed. Well, as long as they're both happy. There's no need to doubt that they're a good pair.

"Break it up, we're in public, please." I coughed out, counting the amount of flyers remaining in my hands.

"Oh, Chara! Are you working right now again?" Asked Angel.

I did have to get everything delivered soon enough, but I secretly wanted to keep talking with the two of them. I've seen nothing but law and old people and my mom and sister. The monsters always provide a different problem everyday but I wanted something new. I wanted... Um, my other friends again. In that moment, I fully realised how much I missed my bubbly blonde weirdo of a classmate.

"How come you've got so much freedom to date all of a sudden?" I asked, changing the subject. "I know you're not doing this in secret, you'd be looking behind your back constantly like a criminal if you were."

She giggled nervously. "Actually, my mother just went and allowed me a lot more freedom. People I hang out with... Friends I make. Even a person to date." She looked back to her partner and squeezed his hand. "I took the opportunity!" She beamed.

I squinted. "Just like that?"

"Y-Yes..."

Her mood shifted, but I didn't think anything of it. People really, really, really do change, I guess. I caught Hossam staring at the flyers in my hand.

"Are those for the upcoming election?" He asked, trying to get a better look at them.

"They are." I replied, smiling. "Here. Vote for me!" I joked quite optimistically, handing him one - whispering "...I'll gut you if you don't."

He grinned. "Wow. It looks like all three of us are into the community, then!"

I titled my head, extremely intrigued. "What do you mean by that?"
