Jenna's P.O.V:
Yawning, I woke up to hear my phone buzzing. Andy was calling me, so I decided to answer it.
"Hey Jenna, how's Warped been?" the male asked me.
"Hey. It's been amazing! Any chance you'll come to the Sydney show?" I questioned.
"Actually that's why I'm ringing - I'm in Coffs Harbour at the moment and I'll be at the show today" he explained.
"Oh that's so cool! We really need to catch up and I want to introduce you to someone. Where should we meet?" I asked.
"Well we could meet up at your merch tent before your show and then hang out afterwards?" Andy suggested.
"Sounds like a plan" I smiled. "See you then."
I changed from my pyjamas into a pair of black ripped jeans and a purple tank top that said 'be your own hero' on it, before braiding my blonde hair back into buns. After telling the guys I was meeting with Andy, I headed over to the merch tent we'd agreed on meeting at.
"Hey Jenna! Long time no see" Andy joked, smiling.
"How the heck have you been?" I asked him.
"Pretty awesome! I've finally sorted some things out in my life and I've been super happy lately. Also, I'm so stoked on how successful you guys have been!" He answered.
"Oh that's great news! I'm so happy for you" I smiled, before turning to see who Andy was waving to.
My eyes felt like they were bulging out of my head as a familiar person stood beside me.
"Jenna, I want you to meet my brother" Andy started, looking to his left "Jenna, this is Brad. Brad, this is Jenna."
"BRAD?!" I exclaimed, covering my mouth. This wasn't any Brad, it was Brad Evans. My ex-boyfriend from high school.
"You both know each other?" Andy questioned, looking surprised.
"We dated in high school" Brad smiled as if he was proud of it or something.
"Oh... Is that right? I suppose you both would've known each other around that time" Andy shrugged.
"Wait - so you're both only telling me now that you're brothers?" I asked them, confused.
"It's a long story" Andy answered. "I'm going to go do some media things. I'll leave you two to catch up."
"Well I'm sorry but I need some sort of explanation" I sighed, folding my arms as I looked at Brad.
"Look, Jenna. I'm a different person now... In high school, I had insecurities and personal problems. I got a high from making fun of people and I was way too influenced by my friends to do shit that I shouldn't of" Brad explained. "Andy and I barely saw each other as we were growing up... We just sort of kept it to ourselves."
"Hmm, okay. Why didn't you tell Andy that we dated prior to this meeting?" I asked curiously, looking around.
"Well I didn't want him stopping me from seeing you or anything like that" he explained.
"Fair enough. Well we haven't seen each other in what? 5 years? I guess a lot can change a person in that amount of time" I looked down, thinking of Ben.
"Well we can catch up later today, if you'd like?" The male suggested.
"I suppose so" I smiled, giving him a hug. "I'll see you around."
Walking off to meet with the rest of my band, I couldn't help but wonder if Brad was being completely honest, or what his true intentions were. I can only hope Ben doesn't spot him, could you imagine that?
