Knocked Up - Part 2

So I few of you guys requested a part 2 of this one shot, so here it is ♥

"Just take a deep breath, Archiekins, daddy would never hurt you." I say, although with hesitation. I know what my dad is capable of and what he'd do to protect me.

We both sit in the front room of the Pembrook, waiting for my parents to come home from dinner. The light was dim, only the fireplace on.

My heart jumps at the sound of the doorknob, my nerves taking over me. My grip tightens on Archie's hand, he squeezes back and flashes a smile in reassurance.

"Archie. Mija. What is he doing here and why are you still up?" My daddy says once he enters.

My mom trails in behind him, a look of question on her face as well.

"Daddy," I start, glancing at Archie and then back at my parents, "Archie and I have something to tell you, you too mom."

Both of their brows furrow, cautiously stepping towards us and taking a seat across.

"What is it, mija? You're worrying me." My mom says.

"Daddy, mom, please don't be upset at Archie. We really need your support." I dwell, my eyes tearing up.

"Veronica, what is is honey? Of course we-" she looks at my father and he has no response, "I will support you." my mom says, my dad making no promises.

"I-" I choke on my words, Archie rubbing the back of my hand with his thumb, "I'm... we're pregnant." I let out the secret.

My dad's face immediately turns, my mom's jaw dropping.

"V-Veronica.. you- you told me you were being safe!" My mom blurts.

My dad sharply turns towards her, "Hermione, you knew that she was.. active? You allowed this?"

"Hiram, she's a grown woman, she can make those decisions. But," she faces us, "I thought she would be making them smartly."

"I- We always did, mommy, it was just once we forgot, one stupid mistake and we didn't realize until afterwards." I explain, tears falling.

"Andrews, leave. And you are to stay away from my daughter from now on. If I see you within a meter of her, I'll have a restraining order drawn up." he says sternly to my boyfriend.

"Mr. Lodge.." Archie begins.

"Not a word." 

"D-daddy, no! I need Archie, he has supported me for the past 4 months, I won't let him leave."

"Four months! You've been pregnant for four months and are telling us now?" My mom yells.

"I- we needed time." I stutter.

"I won't leave her, guys. I love Veronica, and she needs me right now more than ever." Archie stands up for us.

"Veronica, you had to tell us earlier." my dad says, the only emotion I can read is anger and disappointment.

"Why is it such a big deal?"

He shoots out of his chair, yelling "BECAUSE NOW YOU'RE STUCK! THERE IS NO SOLUTION ANYMORE. IT's TOO LATE INTO THE PREGNANCY, YOU CAN'T HAVE THAT OPTION." 

I know exactly what option he meant and I shudder. How could I be so stupid? I wanted them to help me make the decision but I already did by telling them so late.
