Evelyn's POV

The last week was hard. My siblings tried to speak with Lucy, but she ignored them. She only spoke with me. If I was in the library, she was in the library. If I was hungry, she was hungry. The only time she left my side was if either of us had to go to the bathroom. We didn't even eat with our siblings.

She now wakes up as early as me, which is around six in the morning. She would get dressed with my help and would follow me to the kitchen. We would fix a cup of tea and head to the library. I would sit in my seat, work on my studies and Lucy would read Peter Pan. Very few times did she ask what something meant, but if she did I would answer patiently.

After my studies I would start in my journal. I had given Lucy her own journal the morning after our talk with Professor Kirke. She writes what happened with Tumnus and the scenery.

When she asks, I tell her of a time I was in Narnia. She would be so fascinated by the stories that she would ask questions and write down little things in the back of her journal.

Our siblings had been worried the first day when they couldn't find her. When they walked in the library only four hours after they woke up, they saw the two of us reading. I gave them a glare and motioned for them to leave. Peter sighed every time he tried to walk in the library. I would always silently tell him to leave and he would.

"Eve?" I turned my head to see my three other siblings with glum faces. They haven't seen Lucy in almost a week and I've only seen them at night or in the hall on my way to the bathroom. I looked to my right to see Lucy was dozing off in her chair and her book was closed.

I chuckled lightly and kissed her forehead. "Sleep, Dear one. You stayed up late last night." She smiled softly and nodded. I watched as she curled up in one of my sweaters I let her warm herself with.

I walked out of the room and to the door. "Yes, Dears?" My siblings looked down in shame and sadness.

"Why won't you speak with us?" Susan asked me and I frowned.

"What are you talking about? I'm speaking to you right now aren't I?" I looked back and walked out of the library's doorway. I closed the door slightly, leaving a crack and nodded to a guest room.

"Lucy is quite upset with you. She truly didn't lie to you about Narnia. You hurt her when you wouldn't believe her." I said softly to my siblings as we all stood around in the room.

"But that's the thing. It is impossible to have a world in a wardrobe. She's imagining. She's dreaming. She couldn't possibly be seeing it." Susan scolded me with a glare. I sighed in realization that it would take more to get Susan to believe than any of my siblings.

"I will be getting back to the library now. I'll see you all tonight." I walked out of the room without another word and back into the library.
