Evelyn's POV

The coronation day was simply beautiful. "It's as if the actual nature of Narnia knows about today." Susan gushed as she looked out of the window of my large room. She watched as the sea nymphs and mermaids danced in the water to show their admiration for us. Susan giggled at them in glee.

"Susan, I believe the nature does know. Remember the nymphs and dryads?" I giggled as I curled Lucy's short hair.

"I keep forgetting how magical this place truly is." Susan sighed, taking a seat next to us. I smiled at her. She looked beautiful. Susan wore a velvet grayish blue dress, matched with gold and green accents. She absentmindedly played with her velvet green cloak. I had already fixed her hair to match her gentle look.

I tapped Lucy's shoulder, motioning her to stand up. She smiled at me as she did, twirling her velvet baby blue dress. I helped her put on red cloak, making sure the gold emblem was secured.

I sat down in the chair next, bringing my hair into a braid. "It would be really pretty if you made it into a bun." Susan smiled at me. I smiled back, changing the end of the braid to roll into a bun.

"Thank you." I then fixed little details of my hair. "Are you two ready?" I asked excitedly.

"How can we be ready if we've never ruled before? This will be so hard to do." Susan worried.

"Hey, we'll be okay. The five of us will lead Narnia into peace and prosperity." I set my hand onto Susan's shoulder.

"What does that word mean?" Lucy asked us making both Susan and I giggle. We forgot how young she really was.

"It means wealth and goodness." Susan explained to her.

"Then that is a true statement. We'll be the best rulers Narnia will ever have. After Aslan of course." Lucy made both Susan and I giggle.

"What's all this laughing?" Edmund and Peter walked unto the room with smiled of their own.

"Oh nothing. We were just saying how amazing Narnia is." Susan smiled at the two.

"Well, Aslan said we better hurry. It's almost time to start the coronation ceremony." Peter smiled at us.

We all started to giggle and help each other with finishing details. I hurried to put on my gold cloak to match my green dress. Peter and I matched perfectly with each other. Lucy and Susan hurried to put on their flats and Edmund was messing with his hair in the mirror.

I sighed, helping my younger brother with his dark hair. He smiled thankfully at me. Peter gave me a worried glance when he began getting confused with the emblem holding his cloak on his shoulders. I chuckled before helping my twin.

"You are all a mess." I sighed.

"Yes, but you always know how to clean us up." Peter smirked at me.

"It is time." I heard Aslan's voice. We all turned to the door to see the great king himself waiting. We all nodded, moving to follow him out the door.

We stood outside of the throne room. It was filled to the brink will Narnians. Peter and I squeezed each others hands in reassurance. Aslan began walking to lead us to the thrones. After a few steps, we all began out walk.

Peter stood in the middle of Susan and I. Lucy was on my side and Edmund on hers. We all stood tall, following Aslan in a similar pace as him. The Narnians followed us with their gazes making us all nervous. The centaurs all  raised their swords to point up as Aslan passed.

We made it to the thrones, standing behind Aslan. Our smiles grew immensely at the sight our the five thrones. Peter's throne sat in the middle, a sword engraved to the top. Susan and I's were on the left and right. Mine sat on the right with my mirror being shown. Susan's had her horn. Lucy's throne, which was next to mine, had her heart shaped cordial with the fire flower juice. Lastly, Edmund's throne, which sat next to Susan's, was engraved with an open book.

We all walked to our own thrones, gracefully. We turned to stand in front of the crowd with large smiles. Aslan turned to announce our titles.

"To the Glistening Eastern Sea, I give you Queen Lucy, the Valiant." Tumnus grabbed the smallest crown which was made of silver Laurel leaves representing victory and royalty. They yarrow flowers symbolize healing, courage, and love. He bowed as he set the crown upon Lucy's head. Lucy gave me a large smile, which I returned.

"To the Great Western Wood, I give you King Edmund, the Just." Edmund bowed his own head, as Lucy did, to receive his own silver crown made of Birch leaves to symbolize protection, rebirth, and changes. Tumnus bowed to the new king.

"To the Everlasting Clear Moon, I give you High Queen Evelyn, the Merciful." I bowed my head as Tumnus set my own crown on my head. The crown was silver and made of stars symbolizing the purity of mercy and goodness also symbolizing the relevance of Narnia being the true home for its royalty.

"To the Radiant Southern Sun, I give you Queen Susan, the Gentle." Susan bowed her head letting Tumnus set a golden crown rest on her head. It was made of daffodils being the symbol of beauty and spring. The leaves of mountain ash which were used to make bows.

"And to the Clear Northern Sky, I give you High King Peter, the Magnificent." Peter bowed his head as Tumnus set a golden crown upon his head made of oak leaves representing wisdom and strength, apple leaves representing knowledge and Narnia's protection tree. The oak leaves upon each peak expressing his place as the highest ruler of Narnia.

We all slowly sat down in our thrones as Aslan turned to us. "Once a king or queen of Narnia, always a king or queen. May your wisdom grace us until the stars rain down from the heavens." Then Aslan turned to the crowd. He began to chant us all, the Narnians chanting with him.

"Long live King Peter."

"Long live King Edmund."

"Long live Queen Evelyn."

"Long live Queen Susan."

"Long live Queen Lucy."

The crowd cheered loudly for us. We all turned to give each other smiles at how much praise we were receiving. Who knew we would be the royalties of our very own kingdom someday?

After that, we were all lead to dance. Though there was a long live of Narnians waiting to dance with their new rulers, the first dance was saved for our pick. We had already agreed that we would all dace with each other, Peter and I, Susan and Edmund, and Lucy with Mr. Tumnus.

As the music started to play, we all began to dance with our partners. The other Narnians watching with glee. It was a simple Narnian dance Tumnus had to teach us for hours before today.

Once the dances slowed down, after many, many, songs and partners, we were allowed to just chat. I noticed Lucy had walked over to the balcony to look out to the beach. I assumed she was needing a breather. When I began walking over, Mr. Tumnus stopped me. "I'll take care of her. Go, have fun." I nodded with a gracious smile.

I turned back to the party, to look for Peter. He was laughing with Oreius as they spoke of something. I looked for Edmund to see he was telling some fauns about Finchley making their eyes fill with wonder. I then noticed Susan was asking questioned to the Beavers about different things. The three of them laughing every once and a while.

"Eve?" I turned to see Lucy had a crestfallen face. I pulled her into a hug, pulling away from the party so no one would see her tears.

"What happened?" I asked as we neared the balcony she was just at.

"He's gone. Aslan left." I frowned myself, at the news. I knew sooner or later he would leave. He had told me when I had first came to Narnia, that when my siblings and I took over in his place as rulers, he would leave us. I just assumed he would stay longer.

"Do not worry, Lu. He'll come back. Only when we truly need him. But, he is always with us." She wiped her red eyes to look at me. "In here," I pointed to her heart, "and here." I then pointed to her head. She giggled a little as I bopped her nose.

"Thank you, Evelyn." She smiled at me.

"Anytime, dear. Now, let's go. I'm sure one of our siblings are running out of things to say." We both giggled.
