Chapter 6

Zach and I sat at the counter in the kitchen and my mom turned around and looked at us. "Nice to see you two." She said smiling. "Hi mom." I said. "Hi Ms. y/ln." said Zach. "You guys look so cute together"she said. "Thanks mom, this is Zach." "Zach? What's his full name?" "Zachary Dean Herron" I said. "That's a nice name." She said while she cleaned the kitchen. "So Zach, how old are you?" "I am 17, ma'am." "Wow, very polite I see." She said smiling. "Thank you" Zach said. "You can call me Alba" she said. "Okay, nice to meet you Alba." Zach said. "Nice to meet you too Zach. So do you have a job?" she asked while setting down her things and staring at us. "Yes, I do. I am a singer." "Oh wow! Are you in a band or a solo singer?" "I am in a band."Zach said smiling. "Whats your band's name?" she asked while pulling out her phone. "Why Don't We." Zach said laughing a little. "Wait, y/n is that the band you have been talking about?" she asked setting down her phone. "Yes, it is." I said smiling at Zach and grabbing his hand under the counter. "Well I am glad my daughter has found someone who makes her happy." my mom said smiling at Zach.

--------Zach's POV--------

I was a little nervous to meet y/n's family but they were all so sweet. He brother Tanner scared me at first but he's actually really nice. He scared me because he seemed very strong but he was just joking around. I honestly love y/n so I wanted to make a good first impression to her family. We finished talking to her mom and headed up to her room. We watched some Netflix and her mom made us some lunch and brought it to us in her room. She is super chill and so nice. I can't believe I have such and amazing girlfriend with such an amazing family. We watched TV before we knew it, it was 10:30 PM she fell asleep so I kissed her forehead and headed home so that she could spend sometime at her house with her family. When I got to my car I got home as soon as I could so the boys didn't assume anything.
