"Hey Y/n!"

You stood completely still at the end of the table.

"H-hi Jae..."

You didn't really know what to do. You were just standing at Jae's table, staring into his eyes.

You already felt 110% uncomfortable, but then Jae made room for you to sit and you felt 210% uncomfortable.

"Here Y/n, have a seat."

Jae motioned for you to sit down. You hesitated, but eventually did.

It was so weird to sit with DAY6. You barely even knew any of them.

There was silence across the table, probably because you were now there.

You tried to think of something you could say to break the awkward silence, but Jae did it for you.

"Hey Y/n, where's Jimin? I thought you two always had lunch together."

You pointed towards Kevin and Jimin.

"She's sitting with Kevin today."

Jae smiled.

"Oh, I know Kevin. We hang out after school sometimes."

You were going to speak, but Jae smirked and spoke some more.

"Does she like him?"

Hahahhah Jimin is going to kill you, but she kind of deserves it for abandoning you on such short notice.

"Totally."

All of DAY6 began to laugh, then Wonpil spoke up.

"I hope Jimin won't scare him off. Kevin seems pretty friendly, and Jimin can be- um, not so friendly."

You almost choked on air.

"Hey, Jimin's not that mean. You just have to get to know her."

"You're just saying that cause you're her best friend. Every time I do a group project with her in 4th period she refers to me as Pill Head."

Jae snorted.

"Ayeeee that's a good one!"

You smiled at Jae's stupidity and defended Wonpil- kind of.

"Stop making fun of Wonpil, you can never hide your affection from me."

Jae rolled his eyes and smiled at your comment.

"Please, this Fortnite king could never fall in love with a snake, right Brian?"

Brian looked both flustered and amused at the same time.

"First of all. WHO IS BRIAN? I'm Young K."

The whole table rolled their eyes.

"Second, Dowoon is way better at Fortnite than you."

Jae scoffed and rolled his eyes.

"Third, if Jae has affection for anyone, it's Y/n."

Jae didn't say anything.

You looked at Jae.

"Hahaha. Who said you could speak, Brian?"

"Young K, and you did."

"Whatever man, enough of this tomfoolery."

Everyone was quiet, but Sungjin spoke up.
