Chapter 37

I'm just sipping my drink and looking at my mom. "Look, people only live once, die once, and married once." Mom says to me.

"But some people got divorce even there are a lot of people married more than twice." I said to mom.

"Well, dont you see that most people who did that dont have any kids and they think only about themselves." Mom said to me.

"I dont know what to do. Sure, I want to make her dream come true. I mean, like when I was a kid, I also want to have a complete family."

"I know, honey. I know. It's hard." Mom nodded.

I nodded and let out a sigh. I look at my watch and put my phone into my bag. "I have to pick up Abigail from school." I said to mom.

"Alright, I will replace you for the food testing with Kitty?"

"If you dont mind with that. Jake will be there too. I just cant think straight right now." I let out a sigh.

"Honey, your wedding is in couple days, you have to think straight." Mom said to me.

"I know. I know. I will call you later." I hug her.

"Alright, I will stay at Jake's tonight." Mom said to me and hugs me back.

"I will come later maybe." I smile at her and hold my bag. "See you mom. Thank you for spending your time with me today since I dont know who I should talk to."

"Honey, as long as you're not married yet, you're still my responsibility and no matter what, I'm always your mom. Just say hello to Abigail from me okay." Mom smiles back at me.

I smile at her and walk out from the restaurant. I walk to my car and start driving to Abigail's school. I just have talked with my mom since I dont know who I should talk to.

Yeah I cant deny that I'm still in love with Ryder and he was my first love of everything. People said that first love is everything. But my marriage with Sam is just couple days away and I dont wanna hurt Sam.

I keep driving until I got into Abigail's school. I went out from my car and standing against my car while looking at my phone.

"Mommy!!!!"

I turn my face and waves at her as she runs to me and hugs me. "Hey, gramma said hello to you." I rub her hair.

"Can we see her?" Abigail asks me.

"Sure. But first, you said that you want to watch The Incredibles 2 with mommy and daddy today." I said to her.

"Yes! Yes! Yes! Come on, mom." Abigail said excitedly and gets into the car.

I chuckle and shake my head then get into the car. "Your dad said that he already in cinema." I said to her and start driving.

"Yay!" Abigail smiles happily.

I smile and still driving then park my car near the cinema. I went out from my car then pick up Abigail and hold her as she has her bag on her back.

"Where is your dad?" I said while look around.

"Over there." Abigail points to the cafe. I smile and walk to the cafe while still holding her. "Daddy!!"

"Baby, lower your voice." I chuckle.

"Hey, you guys." Ryder smiles at us.

"You already bought the tickets?" I ask him.

"Yes and popcorn also chocolate bar, your favorite one." Ryder smiles at Abigail. "Come here, you're getting bigger and your mom must be tired to pick you up." Ryder said and take her from my hands.
