Second place at nationals doesnt make any difference. Principal Sylvester still want to disband the glee club and she want to turn the choir room into Computer Lab. So which mean it's over. And we only get a chance to do our last week assignment for a week and after this it will be really over.
The alumni come here to celebrate our last week assignment. I dont know what will happen next but I heard the rumour that the glee club member will be transfer to another school so there will be no chance to rebuild the glee club.
"This is crazy. I mean the second place trophy isnt that small like when we got into twelve place." Finn frowns and standing in front of the trophy case.
"It's not about the trophy, Finn. It's about winning." Mercedes says to Finn.
"But they beat other 14 teams. They were 16 teams and still no chance?" Finn frowns.
"Not even second though." I mumbled.
"Guys, guys calm down." Mr. Schue walks in. "Our glee club might be over but this is not the only one place to sing. Music is everywhere guys and we can sing anywhere and anytime we want." Mr. Schue says to us. "Now your assignment is..." Mr. Schue says and write '100' on the white board. "One hundred lesson that we can get from this room. It means so much to me that so many of you came back on such short notice to celebrate the past few years to sit in this room one last time and sing. Your assignment is to sing one of the songs we sang in here but reinvented in some way. Way back in the old days when I started the Glee Club I would give an assignment, and then I would- I would give a little demonstration of what I was looking for." Mr. Schue smiles at us.
We are cheering and applauding happily for this. This is awesome.
"See, you all cheer now, but just wait till he starts rapping." Santana says to us.
"Okay, no hip-hop today, Santana." Mr. Schue chuckles. "However, I have asked a very special person to come join me. It seemed appropriate since her contributions helped save the Glee Club or, at least, the auditorium way back when. Please welcome, all the way from Broadway Miss April Rhodes." Mr. Schue says and points to the door.
"Hey, y'all!" A blonde woman with skinny body walks in and greets us.
"Do you know who that is?" I whisper at Ryder.
"Another woman from another world." Ryder simply said.
"Stupid." I roll my eyes.
~~
"So, Mr. Moneybags says to me. He says, April Rhodes you sing like an angel and make love like a tiger.bBut the old ball and chain's got your number. So I'm afraid I gots to set you loose. So you know what he did? He bought me an island!" Miss Rhodes says to us.
Ww are just chuckles as we are gather around near the piano and hold a champagne glass and listen to her story.
"That's right. I own my own island in the Caribbean called Santa Aprilrodeo. It's not war-torn or filled with landslides or got destitute locals in it. Just me and my manservant Kadeem with long, sensuous nights full of home-brewed poi and intimate massage." Miss Rhodes says to us.
I turn my face at Ryder and we both frown. Is she going to talk about sex? And massage? Really?
"Okay." Mr. Schue cut her off. "Thank you, April - for that wonderful lesson in female empowerment." Mr. Schue says to her.
"Amen! Amen." Miss Rhodes yelled.
"But why are we all holding these plastic champagne flutes?" Artie frowns.
"Cause we are about to pop the cork with some bubbly. But don't worry. This Spumante is a virgin. Probably like you will be for a long time. Anyways- Will and I want you to raise your glass to celebrate the Glee Club by singing, hands down the best song New Directions ever did." Miss Rhodes says to us.
