Chapter 38

Jade's POV

Today is my wedding day. I havent seen Abigail in couple days since I became busier to plan the wedding and Sam wanted me to handle everything.

Now, I'm just standing in the dressing room and fixing my hair. We will have wedding in the yard of a hotel so it will be outdoor wedding.

I let out a sigh and built a smile on my face slowly. I have to be happy. Today is my wedding day but I dont know why my smile isn't pure like it used to.

"Mommy?"

I turn my face and spread my arms. "I missed you." I smile at her.

She runs to me and hugs me. I hug her back and rubs her back. "You're happy?" Abigail asks me.

I nod and smile at her. "Yes as long as you're happy."

"I dont want you to leave me. My friends told me that when one of their parents get married with someone else, their parents forget them." Abigail said to me.

"But I will never ever forget you. You're my baby girl." I smile at her.

Abigail half smiled at me and pecks on my lips. I look at her and I can see that she is sad. Even though she tried to hide it but she is. I'm a mother and mom always said it's like a mother nature.

"Hey, you ready? The wedding is going to be begin." Puck walks in.

Abigail just walks out and she must be looking for Kitty since she is the flower girls along with Kitty's niece.

"Yeah I'm ready." I nod.

"None is getting married with under pressure." Puck suddenly said.

"I'm not." I shake my head.

"You might can lie to her but you cant lie to me. I'm older than you and I've been dealing with a lot of rough stuff lately." Puck said to me.

I let out a sigh and shake my head. I guess this is the right thing to do. Sam is a good guy and I'm pretty sure he will make me happy. That's all.

"Jade, the wedding is begin!" Kitty shouts.

I take my flower bouquet and turn my face at Puck. "If you dont wanna do this, just say it. When someone says 'I do' you cant change it back." Puck says to me.

"Sam will make me happy right?" I fake smile at him and walk out from my dressing room.

I can see that Kitty and her dad are walk down in the aisle. I put my arm around Puck's elbow since he is the one who walk me down to the aisle. It supposed to be our father but nobody knows where is he so my option was only Puck besides he is my older brother.

Puck and I walk down in the aisle as the guests are standing smiling looking at us. Kitty already standing in the altar with Jake is across her. I just can built a force smile and still walking slowly until I see someone who standing behind Jake.

It's Ryder. He is looking at me with tears falling down from his face. I dont know why I suddenly stop my way and starring at him. I press Puck's arm hard as I'm trying to hold my tears.

I dont know what should I do. It's too late to run off of the wedding. It's too late to cancel on everything. Now I just can see Ryder is starring at me with his tearing eyes.

The priest start whispering something to Sam. I turn my face and Sam walks down to me and take my hand from Puck's arm quickly.

"I ever told you that I will take your hand and walk you to the altar forcefully if you dont wanna marry me right?" Sam says to me.
