Chapter 41

I'm sitting down on my table in my office in the hospital. Checking out some files from the substitute dentist who substituted me for a week.

Suddenly there is knock on my door. "Come in!" I shout.

I turn my face to the door and Ryder opens the door and grins at me. "You may wanna see this." He points to the sign on my office.

I raise my eyebrows and stand up from my seat and looking at the name sign from my office. "dr. Lynn?" I chuckle.

"I decided to change it and want to show the world that you're mine." Ryder smiles at me.

"How sweet." I smile back and go back to my table and continues checking out some files.

"Babe?"

"Yes?"

"What is the gender of Jake's baby?" Ryder asks me as he sit down across me.

"Why do you ask?" I raise my eyebrows at him.

"Just wanna know." Ryder giggles.

"Well, I wont tell." I simply said.

"Alright. I bet 500 bucks with him. If the baby is a girl, I win. If the baby is a boy, I lose." Ryder said to me.

"Well, I wont tell." I grin at him.

"Ugh I should just sneaking to check out the party you planned." Ryder simply said.

"Dont you dare to do that." I glare at him.

"Then tell me." Ryder begged.

"I wont. You cant keep a secret. If I tell you, you will tell Jake immediately since you two betting on each other and it wont be surprise anymore." I shake my head.

"I promise this time I will keep a secret. Just tell me." Ryder says to me.

"Once a no there will be no." I simply said.

"Is it the same gender that we want?" Ryder grins at me.

"I wont tell, baby." I smirk at him.

"Damn!" Ryder rolls his eyes.

I laugh and put the files into a map. "What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be at work?"

"I want to ask you have lunch with me and tell you that everything about our wedding is done." Ryder says to me.

"Well we can go to lunch. There is no appointment today well, only two but it was in the morning." I said to him.

"Okay what about the restaurant we ever went that near here?" Ryder grins at me.

"Sure." I smile at him and take my phone and my wallet also my office key.

I went out from the office with Ryder and lock the door. I put my phone, keys and wallet into my coat pocket as walking down next to Ryder.

I hold his elbow as we walk together to the elevator. "I saw Marley at court again today." Ryder says to me.

"Do you talk to her?" I raise my eyebrows at him.

"Nope. She doesnt see me. I was picked up some files and went back to my office." Ryder simply said.

"Maybe she work there. I dont know." I shrug.

"Well, who cares about her?" Ryder simply said and put his arm around my shoulder.

We then walk out from the elevator and go out from the hospital lobby. Ryder and I start walk down in the street as he still having his arm on my shoulder.
