"Wanna run through the piece once more, or do you wanna go see a movie? Cause i wanna go see a movie." Eli said leaning against the lockers next to mine. I glanced over at him and smirked.
"Why Elijah Reece are you asking me out?" i teased watching him turn red.
"No, i didn't mean- Platonically, i thought we've been working hard so we need a break, thus the thought of 'hey a movie' popped into my head. Not a date" he said panicking.
"Alright, however, we should go through the song once more before going." i said chuckling while closing my locker.
Later...
We were sitting in the back of the theater, watching Halloween 3, a remake. He sat calmly watching while i was freaking out, this constant feeling of anxiety nipping at the back of my mind. I got up from my seat to leave the viewing room. I sat in the hall outside the room hugging my knees. A few minutes passed before Eli left to check on me.
"You okay?" he asked i nodded.
"Horror movies spark my anxiety" i grumbled.
"Ah, Why didn't you say anything? We could've gone to watch some other genre." Eli said leaning against the wall next to me.
"It's fine. I promise." i said looking up at the boy. He sighed
"Alrighty then. There's about half an hour left, you wanna go for a walk or head out to go get something to eat?"
"For what reason? You go and enjoy the movie."
"I've already seen it. Common, name a place and i'll take you."
I smiled looking forward "Denny's"
"Common then, get up we're going to Denny's" Eli said already going in to grab our stuff as i pulled myself up off the ground, he's such a nice guy. I ended up meeting him outside, the security guys got a little bugged while i was waiting for him outside the door. I stood by his car waiting.
-so, where'd you go?- Eli
-Car, security got weirded out with me standing around.-
-ah.- Eli
-omw- Eli
"What an adorable fool." I chuckled to myself as he came running out the doors. When he got out to the car he plopped down in the driver's seat and smiled.
"Alrighty, Denny's then." he said already getting ready to drive off.
