Eli found me by my locker talking to Maria and Dylan. They were joking around about how the school is with all their cliques. I chuckled up to the point that Eli leaned against me.
"I've been curious, are you two dating?" Dylan asked
"Nope." Eli stated.
"Could you tell your brother that, he's pretty much dead set on the idea that you think we're dating and i'm just messing with you." i sighed
"I'll tell him. Though i highly doubt he's going to change his mind about you." he sighed messing with my hair. I glanced up at him, he smiled placing his chin on my head. "You are pointlessly cute, ya know that?"
"Shut up." i said
"You're the only one that can flirt with me? How is that fair?" he scoffed.
"I do it because it annoys you." i said
"You guys flirt with each other and you're not dating. Why don't you guys just date." Maria asked. Eli shrugged.
"I think it's better to be friends." Eli said.
"Better to be friends?" i asked as my phone started ringing. I answered it. "Yeah?"
"You've got self defense class in half an hour, come home to get your stuff ready." Lauren said.
"That's today?" i asked "i'm heading home."
Eli released me.
"What's today?" he asked
"Martial arts class." i stated.
"Oh? I haven't spoken to my parents about it yet." he said. I smiled at him
"Aw, you're gonna leave me alone for three hours so i can kick ass" i joked
"Of course not. I'll join later." he said i walked away ignoring the questioning faces of my friends as i was making my way to the doors.
