"Where are we going?" I ask when we both finish taking a shower. Dont get me wrong, okay. He went first and me after him.
"I'll take you home." He answers.
"Oh." I say, kind of surprised. Why havent I been thinking about going home, anyway?
"Wanna go somewhere first?" He asks, knowing me so much. We used to go to the mall every time I sleep in his house and then he'd take me home. But that's before because we aren't dating anymore.
"It's fine, I guess." I admit. "You know.." I pause.
"What?" He asks.
"Nothing. I'm still kinda sleepy though." I tell him, which is kinda true as well.
When we're both ready, we immediately go downstairs to say goodbye to his mum and that's when I realize something.
"Where's Mali, by the way?" I ask Calum's mum. I havent seen her in a while.
"Working, you know." She smiles.
"Oh, okay. Good bye, Joy. And thank you so much." I hug her and then we leave.
The whole drive is quite awkward and I have no idea why. Or maybe, it only is for me because Calum looks so relaxed.
"By the way.." He starts, still focused on the road.
"We didn't do it, okay?" He laughs. And I'm confused.
"We didn't do what?" I ask.
"You know, I mean, we almost did but I managed to stop because you're drunk and you know." He laughs again, louder but kind of nervous. I feel weird. I dont know. I'm not disappointed that we didn't but, I dont know. Forget it.
"I'm so proud of you!" I tease him.
"And I'm sorry that I didn't put your clothes to you again after we stripped each other." He smirks. And I almost choke.
"I cant believe you're saying sorry about that." I admit, trying to laugh.
"Me too. But I need to. We have to. You know, things aren't the same as before." He explains.
"I know what you mean." I say. I dont know but the topic is making it hard for me to breathe. I feel like he's saying good bye to me, which isnt good. But its also a bit funny.
"We aren't dating anymore. But we are good friends, right?" He asks.
"Of course, babe." I tease him but it kinda hurts me.
"How are things going with Ashton?" He asks.
"Nothing, yet. We exchanged numbers last night, though." I lie. Of course, we didn't and I want to slap myself for forgetting that. I should have asked his number or just gave mine.
"I think, he's into you as well." He says.
"Of course, he is." I laugh.
"Dont be too assuming, though." He teases and we both crack up.
When we reach our house, he just walks with me inside to greet my mum and then leaves immediately.
"I need to talk with Luke and Michael. You know, the freaking not band yet." He whispers and hugs me before walking out.
I walk upstairs to my room. When I fish for my phone, I can't find it. I groan knowing I left it maybe in Calum's house or his car. I'm about to go downstairs to see if he's still outside when my door opens.
"Here." He hands my phone to me. And I just say thank you. When I look at the screen, an unknown number just missed a call. Maybe Calum heard it and thats when he noticed my phone was in his car.
Before I try to call back the unknown number, it rings again.
"Hello?" I answer.
"Judith." A familiar voice says which makes me smile. Of course, it's Ashton.

<Author's Note: I was kind of emotional when Calum was like ending things up between him and Judith because I honestly want them together but.. Ashton. Anyways, dont forget to vote and comment! :D>
