"Well.." I start, not knowing what to respond.

"That's kind of deep." I slightly laugh.

"I know." He laughs, too. And I cant help but grin.

"Do you know John Green?" He asks and I immediately answer with "Of course. He's the writer of that fcking metaphor movie that made me cry like a baby and I swear, I love and hate him." He laughs harder now.

"I almost cried too but you know, I'm a guy and I shouldn't cry." He says, still smiling.

"It's okay, you know." I tell him.

"It's a bit girly." He chuckles. I just laugh.

"So, I read Will Grayson, Will Grayson and Paper Towns last week and it made me think deep. That's why when I noticed that the green boat was the only green one there, I tried to think of something that a deep person would say." He explains.

"What the hell?!" I burst out laughing.

"I'm speechless." I almost choke, not able to stop myself from laughing.

"You read those kinds of books?" I ask him, obviously he does.

"I've no choice. I've had nothing to do the last two weeks and some of my girl friends, I mean, yeah, girls, who are friends with--"

"I get it, okay." I cut him off, smiling.

"Okay. So, months ago, I heard them talk about those books, that they're really good and I didn't care but when the holiday started, I didnt know what to do and I was left with only one choice: to read. I agree, though. Those books are really good." He continues and I just smile the whole time he talks. I love hearing his voice.

"I think John Green is kind of a good influence to you. You can be a writer too now." I tease him.

"I do. I mean, not books. I write songs." He says and it's like a snap to me.

"Wait! Yes! You play drums, right? And you write songs too?" I kind of freak out. He grins.

"That is seriously cool!" I tell him, trying to calm myself. But it's too hard not to fangirl over the guy you like who even is talented!

I suddenly think of drums again. I feel like there's something about it that I should remember. And snap!

"Wait! Okay. Do you know that Michael and Luke are forming a band?" I ask. This time, I let myself freak out.

"Yeah." He answers.

"Why don't you join them? I think, they need a drummer!" I say excitedly.

"I'm not really friends with them. Actually, I was at the party last time not because they invited me, a friend of them did but when I came there, I couldn't find him." He explains.

"That sucks but come on! You should try, at least! So, you'll have other things to do other than reading John Green's books." I tease him.

"I don't just read his books, you know. Do you know Rainbow Rowell?" He asks.

"Oh my gosh. Shut up." I laugh.

"Why? What's wrong with that?" He laughs too.

"Don't tell me you've read Eleanor And Park?" I warn him. He grins.

"Gosh, Ashton. Shut up, really." I'm laughing so hard again, shocked that a guy like him who looks so punk rock read those kinds of books.

"I actually have read--"
